I've noticed that I never see some of the art that exists in my file, and I'm wondering if there's a template that shows which areas of the file are used, and which ones are just storing alternates?
I'd like to make adjustments so I always see the ones I like best, but I need to know which areas are actually displayed.
It's very easy :smile.gif: Just open your minecraft.jar with 7-zip or winrar. You'll see a folder called art there. Just open the folder and take the file kalled Kz.png edit it and replace the paintings there. And after youre finished replace the file in the minecraft.jar with your new version of the Kz.png file. And you'll see your paintings in game :smile.gif:

op obviously knows that from his post. anyway..on to the op. I am with you on that one..my attempts at editing it have turned out rather badly not knowing what size painting is acceptable in which area of the file.

Thanks. :-) Yet another thing we tolerate while playing a game before full release.

Here is the 64x64 kz.png I've made. Also, it should give an idea of which pictures go in what areas.
Perfect! That should help, and makes me think that I should have simply thought to look at the default file and see where the images are. LOL
