You aren't supposed to have more than one wolf skin in use at a time, as the game was programmed only to have one texture for wolves; they're all named the same because the specific names of the images are the same names that the game "recognizes" as the wolf skins. The banner was made by taking screenshots of each wolf separately, and then putting them altogether in one image.
No, you shouldn't place the folders labeled "Gray" or "Brown" etc. The only things that should go in the mob folder are the three images, and any other mob skins you may have. (For other mobs)
Wolves spawn in the Taiga and the Forest (not the rainforest of course) biomes, Forest can be hard to discern from some of the other high-tree biomes, but the taiga is easy to find: Just look for the evergreens.
Of course! The mod looks awesome too!
I think i'm going to install it right now, hopefully I won't screw it up and lose my mansion again

this is pretty neat, but it would be cool if you could turn this thing into a mod sort of thing so you can chose what your wolfs skin is at any givin time with an item or something
hey can someone please tell me how to have more then one skin at a time if there is a way? becuase when i but the 3 files in the mob folder it replaces the on i have. for example if i have hellhound on then put in gray my hellhound skin is gone and there is only gray.
Took me long enough , but I did it.
enjoy!
Done! I hope you like it.
EDIT: could you possibly make a beagle skin?
