Finally I got it solved out!Hello, I'm also facing a problem which when the patcher patched the minecraft 100%, an error popped out and the original minecraft.jar is restored, here is the error log : ( Im using Windows, and I have Minecraft V1.6.6 )

I do not understand a damn thing.. I use .exe and not .jar, the order I put the mods in is at top and then afterwards the better grass (unused) HD Font and HD Texture
It seems none of the mods I use need modloader, yet I use it if I get something for it, Is it because I few mods are outdated? it seems like it, please reply

I've got on big problem. In my Minecraft bin folder, I don't have file "Minecraft-1.6.6"... So patcher can't load, because it's using this file. Can you help me?
the patcher creates the minecraft-1.6.6.jar automatically every time you start the patcher. it's just a backup of your previous minecraft.jar in case there's an error while patching
From what information I've gathered and from personal experience, the way minecraft handles texture packs makes it unable to read textures in the .jar. Therefore, I an unable to see any of the block textures or gui icons. For example, all the food items are invisible. There isn't an icon for any of them. I've followed the installation instructions to a T, and my logical explanation is thus.

My windows 7 x64 PC has 9GB of RAM, and that 9GB of RAM was cheaper than your 4GB.
Faster than your RAM too, most likely.
Windows is an Operating System, the only affect it has on your RAM is if you have 32-bit, in which case you are limited to 3GB.

Not one component of your computer is even close to as good as mine. Macs are overpriced, and their hardware is mid-range at best. No one was attacking you because you used a Mac, but if you want to attack Windows expect to be corrected.

I do not understand a damn thing.. I use .exe and not .jar, the order I put the mods in is at top and then afterwards the better grass (unused) HD Font and HD Texture
It seems none of the mods I use need modloader, yet I use it if I get something for it, Is it because I few mods are outdated? it seems like it, please reply
the patcher creates the minecraft-1.6.6.jar automatically every time you start the patcher. it's just a backup of your previous minecraft.jar in case there's an error while patching

My windows 7 x64 PC has 9GB of RAM, and that 9GB of RAM was cheaper than your 4GB.
Faster than your RAM too, most likely.
Windows is an Operating System, the only affect it has on your RAM is if you have 32-bit, in which case you are limited to 3GB.
Not one component of your computer is even close to as good as mine.
Macs are overpriced, and their hardware is mid-range at best.

every time i run it
it tell me that my java runtime environment is corrupted or not installed
i installed the java runtime like about 6 time today and still no success
can some one plz give me some advice
(any advice would be appreciated)
