Ok i have only ModLoader - AudioMod - PropertiesReader installed and the sidegrass comes out grey when using DokuCraft 32x32 Texture pack. can you please fix it coz it makes everything look much worse. loved it b4 update when it worked though.
Update on my FPS issue. I have found that it only seems to happen when trying to run the Mixcraft Texture pack, and a couple of others. I am running JohnSmith no problem, however.
Hey, my little brother made a video on your texture (which is awesome by the way) and I thought I would post the link to the video in case you wanted to feature it as a preview on your thread topic. Sincerely BloodPhoenix101
I can tell right out of the gate that the minecraft.jar is modified. Your CRC is d3c2f5b8aa303a78ac6e07184a6c3ae0 but the correct one should be ce80072464433cd5b05d505aa8ff29d1. As it stands that issue has come up for me when attempting to install OptiMine. The mod includes se.class which causes issues with MCPatcher. OptiMine and MCPatcher are not compatible with each other. OptiFog is fine though it seems...
Makes sense, but I still get the same error after a fresh update. I was using the optimine + optifog merged mod, but it shouldn't make a difference after an update. I also just updated java to the most recent version today, if that makes a difference. The only other mods i have used are zombe's modpack, modloader, and zam's minimap, but again that shouldn't matter after an update. Also, i tried using the .jar version of mcpatcher instead, and got the same problem.

Delete your bin folder, do an update of minecraft.
Do not mod your minecraft.jar file yet and try the patcher again. If they are still greyed out copy the log from the patcher in your next reply.
P.S. - Optimine isn't compatible with the HD Patcher. The HD patches can't be applied.
How does that make any sense?
This isn't a texture-pack issue, this is a Minecraft issue...
Don't blame LB Photo Realism...
Some texture packs are really testing the limits of java, LB Photo Realism being one. If the pack is experiencing problems simply because Minecraft was updated, then I would definately say that's a problem with the texture pack, not Minecraft. The author of that pack has to figure out a way to make it work with the latest update of Minecraft, as always.

Is there any way to get the patcher's better grass to work with modloader? The other Better Grass mod I used which was compatible got discontinued with 1.6 and I use modloader heavily.

"This means you have a conflicting mod installed. MCPatcher is compatible with many mods, but some mods change the game's class files enough to confuse it. If it detects one of these situations, the patcher refuses to apply the patch instead of applying it and likely crashing later. If you hover the mouse over the greyed out item, it will describe what classes are conflicting. Try using the patcher to install mods instead."
Yep. The only problem is, ModLoader is the trigger of that issue...
I just read his post a few more times and I understand what he's talkng about now.
You can extract the BetterGrass class files from the mcpatcher-2.1.0_01.jar file (download the "All other platforms" version in the OP)
Open mcpatcher-2.1.0_01.jar with WinRAR
Go to the 'com' folder > 'pclewis' > 'mcpatcher' > 'mod'
Within the 'mod' folder you will find the class files for BetterGrass.
What you do with those files once you have them is beyond my knowledge.
I'm not too familiar with mod loader, so maybe someone else can help thy_armageddon from here?

I can't get the "Add (+)" button to work. I've tried both "other platform" links. I have mcpatcher-2.1.0_01.jar saved on my desktop. The file itself opens and I can Patch, Unpatch, switch priorities, and Test Minecraft, with the addons already listed (they come with the file). However the (+) and the (-) buttons do not work.
I have Original File set to: /Users/user/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft-1.6.6.jar and Output File set to: /Users/user/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
I am trying to patch in an HD texture pack, but I don't even get a pop up window to choose where the file is located.
Did I miss something?

Why don't you have Minecraft installed to C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft ?
And what exactly are you trying to do; install a mod or use a texture pack?
Quick question for you guys...This is my first time using MCPatcher and I enabled BetterGrass (which looks ugly on my texture pack). Can I just edit the .xml and switch true to false to get rid of it?

Why not just uncheck it before running the patcher?

This is the download link for the jar file: https://github.com/downloads/pclewis/mcpatcher/mcpatcher-2.1.0_01.jar
If it downloads something other than a jar, maybe just rename the file to .jar instead of .exe?

I use a Mac w OS X 10.5... the C: folder is for windows users -.-
I was going to try and install a mod and texture pack.
That's exactly what i did when i posted the log. It was with a fresh install of the game in another directory.
Yea, I know about it not being compatible. Again, it was not working with or without the mod.
