Actually the whiskers are still present in third person and on items held by other players (version 2.1.0_01). I don't think thats a new issue though because I remember it being like that when I first tried an HD texture pack back in the beginning of beta.

Hey, I really love this mod, and I use the patcher to install all of my mods now. I was just wondering if there was a way to make it possible to put files in OTHER places besides minecraft.jar. For example, the Single Player Commands mod requires you to put a .jar file in your bin folder, and I want to be able to do that within MCPatcher.

I keep getting an error which is forcing it to revert back to orignal minecraft.jar.
I found this in the error details you posted:
java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Beanz\MINECRAFT (The system cannot find the file specified)
Have you moved your .minecraft folder or edited the minecraft.jar file?
If not, or you don't know, I would suggest reinstalling Minecraft (get a fresh minecraft.jar) since it only takes a few minutes anyways. If you do decide to completely reinstall, don't forget to backup your 'saves' and 'texture packs' folders :wink.gif:
Im having some problems with the patcher and was looking for help
Ive used it for a while without problems, but after downloading the newest version I cant get it to patch my game right. I have the texture pack in the correct folder, but when I patch my game, all it does is add the texture pack in the "mods and texture packs" section with a black and white version of the default texture pack icon and when I play the game nothing is different (except the sides of grassy dirt are sometimes completely green)

Kinda odd you are getting a md5 sum warning... I don't get one on my 1.6.6 jar. I would make sure it works against a clean (original) 1.6.6 minecraft jar file.

Sounds like your texture pack zip has another zip file inside it.
Double-click your texture pack zip. Is there another zip file named the same? If so, that is the zip that should be in the texture packs folder.

If not, or you don't know, I would suggest reinstalling Minecraft (get a fresh minecraft.jar) since it only takes a few minutes anyways. If you do decide to completely reinstall, don't forget to backup your 'saves' and 'texture packs' folders :wink.gif:
Ive used it for a while without problems, but after downloading the newest version I cant get it to patch my game right. I have the texture pack in the correct folder, but when I patch my game, all it does is add the texture pack in the "mods and texture packs" section with a black and white version of the default texture pack icon and when I play the game nothing is different (except the sides of grassy dirt are sometimes completely green)
Some more notes:
I use a mac
I have the texture pack in the correct folder saved as a .zip
Can anyone help me?
Kinda odd you are getting a md5 sum warning... I don't get one on my 1.6.6 jar. I would make sure it works against a clean (original) 1.6.6 minecraft jar file.
Sounds like your texture pack zip has another zip file inside it.
Double-click your texture pack zip. Is there another zip file named the same? If so, that is the zip that should be in the texture packs folder.
