Im getting this error everytime i use a Texture Pack, I use the MC Patcher 2.1.0 and patch for all Checked boxes, and then i put the LB Photo Realism 128x pack inside the Texture Pack folder, start up minecraft click the 128 texture pack, and then i start a brand new world and i freeze in mid air and everythings frozen then it says a "Out of Memory Error" and i asked the person who made the pack and he said it was the patchers fault so i dont know it hasnt done this before.

I've posted this several times over the past few pages. You need to apply ModLoader to the minecraft.jar before using MCPatcher. MCPatcher will apply the patch to ModLoader as well (cn.class on 1.5_01, ct.class on 1.6.x)

I'm willing to bet my machine is pretty nice. I built it all from Newegg. Of course all this horsepower isn't needed at all to play minecraft but it runs Crysis 2 and MS Flight Sim decently

I'd like to get a newer card but the 5870 was 400 and that was only 1.5 years ago.

I had to go Asus mb though when I saw the Thermal Armor edition.

Haven't overclocked but I have a Noctua NH-D14 standing by. The stock cooler is crap!

Did you buy all the extra NZXT fans? Ya know the only ones that seem to fit this case?
Whats cooling your OC?

BTW point me to a good article where I can overclock. I'm totally newb at OC'ing

i was too. and i have the hyper 212+ a great $25 cooler. will the d14 fit? it will be close. and i am going to get a led kit then a non nzxt side pannel fan because they don't really move much air anyway. and just mod it a lil.

Thanks for the replies sorry not meaning to hijack thread. The Noctua is great because you can move a fan up a bit to make room for the ram sinks. Yeah it fits well in a Phantom. I agree on the fans I went and got Xigmatek fans.

Anyway, SetFSB is also a great option for CPU overclocking.
Of course OCing via the Bios is the better option, but my motherboard is incapable of Bios OC...
Crappy motherboard, need to upgrade. ._.

For GPU Overclocking, you can do it in Catalyst Control Center.
If you need to go further then that allows you can modify your GPU Bios or use MSI's AfterBurner.

I just can't get HD Textures to work. It's always greyed out for me. When I mouse over I get the following message:

Render Engine: no match found for method readTextureImageData
ColorizerWater: no class matched
ColorizerGlass: no class matched
ColorizerFoliage: no class matched

The problem is I have no mods installed! So what exactly is causing it not to work?

I realize you might not yet be done with the fix but I was wondering if the current posted version has this fix cause mine still isn't working. Also will this fix the memory load error that we are getting too?

if its done then it didn't fix the problems im having thats why i asked.
because everytime i try and run it i get an out of memory error or i get white block instead of my items
and this is after i ran the most recent patcher

I did a horrendously tedious page-by-page search... nothing came up using these terms.
The one thing that resembled this phenomenon at all was this text in the very first post:

HD Textures or one of the other mods is greyed out.

This means you have a conflicting mod installed. MCPatcher is compatible with many mods, but some mods change the game's class files enough to confuse it. If it detects one of these situations, the patcher refuses to apply the patch instead of applying it and likely crashing later. If you hover the mouse over the greyed out item, it will describe what classes are conflicting. Try running the patcher first and then installing the other mod.

I will tell you why this does not apply to my situation:
There are no mods installed.
This is a fresh copy of minecraft.jar. I have deleted, and then subsequently redownloaded, the entire bin directory, without applying any modifications what-so-ever. Running MCpatcher was Step One.

Make sure you are not trying to use 2.0.1 on Minecraft 1.6.x. For the newer Minecraft you need to use 2.1.0
