I found a bug with SideGrass. When there are grass blocks arranged like this:
( =grass)
[]
The sidegrass works fine. However, when the top block has snow on top, the side grass dissappears.

EDIT: All the people having problems with Gerudoku, it's a problem with Minecraft, not the texture pack. http://i.imgur.com/26WeU.png
It works fine for me.
EDIT 2: Resolved the sidegrass thing.

Not a bug. Snowgrass is a different texture altogether than side grass

Oh. Okay. I guess I'll just ignore it, it makes sense now.
I just wanted to see the report to figure out if it's a vid card error, or a java error.. can usually figure out how to fix both.
########## GL ERROR ##########

1285: Out of memory
I looked around on the thread of the pack; It said I should change the heap to double if i'm running 64-bit. But i'm running 32-bit. I tried to increase by half, with no luck. I just got the x128, and so far it works with no problem.
No problems here with the biome or non-biome version. What settings do you have for custom lava, etc.? Do you have any other mods installed? In the patcher, what do the Class Map and Patch Summary say for TextureFX / as.class? Here's what I have for reference:
class TextureFX (as.class)
method onTick -> a
field imageData -> a
field tileImage -> f
field tileNumber -> b
field tileSize -> e
...
TextureFX (as.class)
[1] array size 1024 -> int_numBytes
I'm installing from a fresh version of minecraft with no other mods installed. I've selected "custom animated" for everything, water, lava, etc. and i've enabled texture cache. My Class Map and Patch Summary information matches up with what you quoted there and yet I still crash when trying to use that texture pack... :sad.gif:
I have a weird issue that only started when using the 2.0.1 fix. Firstly, i can run any resolution texture pack 16x, 32x, 64x, 128x, and 256x. They all work great, but that isn't my issue. Whenever i switch texture packs using the default texturepack switcher, minecraft completely closes out without any bug reports/crash reports.
It happens when i switch from default to another 16x pack. It happens when i switch from a 16x to a 256x. And it happens when i switch back from the 256x to the 16x. But after i start up minecraft again, the correct texture pack is indeed loaded. But the minecraft closing out each time is starting to drive me up the wall. Any ideas why?

I went back a few pages but didn't see another post by you....what texture pack are you using?

I cant run x256 textures pack. It just put the screen black.
I had the same issue, I also worked out how to fix it for me. I'm now using LBs x256 pack.
Requirements: x64 windows
Quick instructions: Install Java x64.
How-To:
Due to Java's horrid site not letting you select 32 or 64bit dl's for windows, you need to:
1. Open Internet Explorer 64bit or any other 64bit browser, you can find IE64 through the start menu's search. Just type internet and it will show up.
2. Go to java.com and follow the big shiny download button.
3. Download and install java x64, restart comp if it wants you to, and try loading minecraft. At this stage mine started working fine with x256 texture packs.
I use win 7 but this should work for Vista as well.
Note:
I've noticed a substantial fps increase, either from this patcher/java x64 or my vid just never liked 16bit textures. I'm up to a min of about 180 fps on 256bit when above ground on far view distance.

I got that problem as well, it started with the 2.0.0 fix for me though :sad.gif:
umm,maybe try downloading the latest version.
1st, open your minecraft
2nd, open mcpatcher
3rd,press patch
4th,open your Mods and Texture packs
5th,Press "open texture pack folder"
6th,put all your texture packs inside,
7th, press PATCH again.
8th, enjoy!
Has anyone brought up yet that BetterGrass sometimes shades the entire sidegrass block on certain blocks? The side of the block has sidegrass, not the topgrass copied to the side by bettergrass, but is still shaded with the biome color? It's not really a big problem, but it does make everything look ugly.

I just did this, and while i was hopeful that it would work, it didn't. Believe me, ive tried everything so far. Ive tried enabling different options on the texture patcher thinking that might be the issue, it isnt.
EDIT: Weird, i got it to work by patching it after installing the texture packs first. Basically i didnt do your third step, and it works now. Thanks.

Retired StaffI suggest you both start with a fresh clean version of Minecraft.

Retired StaffDunno then. If you deleted your bin, downloaded fresh, patched, you should be fine . Unless that version of Gerudoku as old or something.
