my stupid noob friends dont know that this is the most dominant patcher because it patches it to work with the textures not patch the textures into the game.
Please help, i am trying to load the LB Photorealism texture pack 256x. And at first it was greyed out.
But then I re installed the whole of minecraft to get rid of all my mods and re installed the texture pack. But then when i go on it is still greyed out, any help ? im stuck

Same for me. I think it may be something to do with my texture pack not having animated fire yet.
Can you post another download mirror, preferably mediafire for me, as the download site used at the moment is blocked by my school, and my home internet is ****, so i can only really download stuff like this at school.

Yes I did make sure it was zipped correctly. It wasnt one folder it was many and images. Help?
Is there a pack.png file in there? If not, there won't be anything other than the Unknown_Pack.png file within minecraft.jar. Did you try selecting it anyway?
my question still stands :/ my gerudoku is zipped correctly as it seems but it wont show up on the texture packs i would love some help, maybe ive done something wrong. please if i could get a detailed walkthrough on how to check and zip a texture pack correctly? derp
You mean I don't have to hunt around for whatever thread has picked up Better Grass for the week after each major update? Just to have one more thing to install after getting everything else running? I love you forever!

Kahr, thank you also for the new patcher in general, it has made editing textures, let alone playing with them, so much easier.

Basically it flags any "new" executable file, a questionable feature at best. Many small software developers seem to be complaining about it:

Best suggestion: Don't use Norton.
If you're on windows: Get MSE.
