Did either of you read the instructions in the OP? Because from that image it's very clear that you're not doing it correctly. You no longer use MCPatcher to install Forge. That hasn't been the correct way to do things for many versions now.
Please read the instructions in the first post. If you're still having problems, give a detailed account of what you've done and what's going wrong including crash reports and so forth.
Hi kahr, i would like to report a really annoying bug, I'm using Minecraft 1.8, with the latest mcpatcher version and Misa's Texture Pack, Cit items textures are not rendering properly ingame, they appear al buggy and ugly, i have made my own cit textures too but the same happens, i would post a screenshot but i can't at the moment, also, ctm is not working properly with some blocks (grass, sand, glass, glass panes, water lilies, dirt, bedrock, quartz pillars, netherrack and some others i can't remember)
Edit: i just found out, the bug only happens when using the Shaders Mod, i'm sure i installed it correctly (through MCpatcher of course) why is this happening? please can somebody tell me how to fix it?
I was reading that Forge & MCPatcher aren't behaving well together atm. Did I read that right? It's almost 5am and I've been up all night so sorry if I get long-winded, confusing or am just plain stupid at this point.....
I'm using Minecraft 1.7.10. Two of my mods required me to update to Forge 10.13.3.1373-1.7.10.
I installed the new Forge, ran the game (worked fine).
I downloaded MCPatcher 4.3.2.03 since I think that's the last version that supports 1.7.10.
I noticed that the line for Minecraft Forge line is now grayed out (it was not with the previous Forge version) but I clicked "patch" and let it install. started the game and received this error:
I want to be clear that I was NOT using MCPatcher to install Forge. I used the Forge Installer to do that BEFORE I installed MCPatcher and ran the game after the Forge install but before the MCPatcher install.

4. I UNPATCHED my game. Upon restart, it works fine.
I realize the FAQ section states:
Does this work with version x.y.z of Minecraft?
Unlike most mods, MCPatcher is designed to be version-independent. It should work across multiple versions of the game, only breaking compatibility when there is a major change. MCPatcher 4.x should work with any 1.6-or-newer release.
5. Even through it doesn't specifically address 1.7 or higher or what MCPatcher 5.x works worth, I downloaded MCPatcher 5.0.2 and tried again. I got the same error:

Any thoughts as to what I'm doing wrong or is the 'incompatibility' of MCPatcher & the latest Forge? I did remove the offending mods in the error log but my game still crashes. I have NEVER inserted anything directly into a .jar file. All my mods are Forge compatible mods so I just put them in the "mods" folder.
If I "Unpatch" the game, it runs fine.
On a side note, page 1 is confusing and the BitBucket page isn't all that helpful either. The download section there only lists the MCPatcher version numbers, not what version of MCPatcher corresponds with which Minecraft version. The changelog on this thread kind of covers that, but the formatting isn't working so it's confusing to read atm. This is what that section looks like to me:
While its easy enough to figure out what it should have looked like, it still could be re-formatted and include a line next to each version release that says "works with Minecraft 1.x.x and higher." Maybe that's just me though. Honestly I think almost every section could use a bit of housekeeping and instructions for anything related to Minecraft 1.6.x or earlier moved to a different spoiler. 10 minutes of cleanup would make it easier to read and thus prevent those who can read (i.e. not everyone clearly) from asking redundant questions. Sorry, I'll shut up now, I obviously need sleep
I'm not sure what to tell either of you about this. I haven't tried to get MCPatcher and Forge to work together since 1.7.2. where it worked without a hitch. I wouldn't have thought it would change that much, but obviously something has. From Sigyn's log it looks like forge is continuing to check for jar integrity even though by rights MCPatcher -should- be asking it not to. It's possible given the Forge developer's animosity towards MCPatcher that they removed the ability to disable this check.
I guess that the only things I can recommend are to either wait for Kahr to fix the problem somehow, or give Killjoy's MCpatcher Repackager a try so that MCPatcher can run as a normal Forge mod. I hope you get it sorted out.
Is there an input for the <cit whatever>.properties that allows me to disable the glints in certain weapons?
Because I wish to remove the glints for the weapons that are enchanted, but not sure how, unless it's completely deleting the contexts of the enchantment_glint.png
And another one....SOWWEH DUN HATE
IS it possible to organise items in CIT? Because I want to group together all the iron swords, stone swords, etc. which will make it much easier for me to locate things
Do you mind if I use the code on BitBucket to try and make a CIT mod for Forge?
I mean a Forge mod that does Custom Item Textures and nothing more.
Please keep in mind that nothing may come of this (I'm fairly new to modding and java), and I'm not at all sure that I will be prepared to release it if I succeed.

Yea, that makes sense. Something in Forge changed and so MCPatcher isn't working properly with it. I know Kahr needs to work in Forge compatibility for 1.8, so updating the 1.7.10 compatibility is probably also necessary. This also explains why the repackager doesn't work.
I've been playing around with CIT on 1.6.4(because the computer I'm using is too gutless to run 1.7.10 at all), and I have been having trouble getting CIT to work on items. I was getting the missing icon texture when the CIT should have kicked in. I checked the log, and noticed that it's looking for a double extension when loading the CIT textures. I put in the double extension, and that got rid of the warning in the log, but the substitute textures don't appear. I'm using damage values to substitute 64x textures for the default diamond sword one as it gets damaged.
Please note that it's only when I have type=item in the .properties files. I tried Misa's resource pack, and it showed the custom enchantment glints, but it didn't show the sword degrading.

I would like to remind everyone that mcpatcher repackager doesn't add any compatibilities. All it does is remove all the modified files from the jar. In fact, it could be done with a script. A side effect of this is that Forge doesn't complain.
Originally you had to add it manually to your libraries.
I got a weird error. Can you tell me how to fix this?

Assuming you've used the patcher normally, according to the instructions in the OP. You should now run the game using the launcher profile MCPatcher created. That includes a flag to tell Forge to ignore that the game is modified [1].
[1] Blame CPW, or whoever makes forge, for being so full of themselves that they could possibly think such a check would be a good idea.

???
no, i think mcpatcher need update..
Like everyone else, I'm having problems with glass panes.
Really hope this gets fixed soon. I don't get why this is happening to everyone and why they let it pass.

Curse PremiumI was reading that Forge & MCPatcher aren't behaving well together atm. Did I read that right? It's almost 5am and I've been up all night so sorry if I get long-winded, confusing or am just plain stupid at this point.....
I'm using Minecraft 1.7.10. Two of my mods required me to update to Forge 10.13.3.1373-1.7.10.
I want to be clear that I was NOT using MCPatcher to install Forge. I used the Forge Installer to do that BEFORE I installed MCPatcher and ran the game after the Forge install but before the MCPatcher install.

ModeratorI'm not sure what to tell either of you about this.
Just a quick question,
Is there an input for the <cit whatever>.properties that allows me to disable the glints in certain weapons?
Because I wish to remove the glints for the weapons that are enchanted, but not sure how, unless it's completely deleting the contexts of the enchantment_glint.png
And another one....SOWWEH DUN HATE
IS it possible to organise items in CIT? Because I want to group together all the iron swords, stone swords, etc. which will make it much easier for me to locate things

Curse PremiumDo you mind if I use the code on BitBucket to try and make a CIT mod for Forge?
I mean a Forge mod that does Custom Item Textures and nothing more.
Please keep in mind that nothing may come of this (I'm fairly new to modding and java), and I'm not at all sure that I will be prepared to release it if I succeed.

ModeratorYea, that makes sense. Something in Forge changed and so MCPatcher isn't working properly with it. I know Kahr needs to work in Forge compatibility for 1.8, so updating the 1.7.10 compatibility is probably also necessary. This also explains why the repackager doesn't work.
Well that stinks... but it's good to know.

Curse PremiumBug report ahoy!

Curse PremiumI would like to remind everyone that mcpatcher repackager doesn't add any compatibilities. All it does is remove all the modified files from the jar. In fact, it could be done with a script. A side effect of this is that Forge doesn't complain.
Originally you had to add it manually to your libraries.

Curse PremiumIs the vertical CTM bug still there? I didn't see anything in the changelog. Can someone confirm?
There are three different Oceans, I used the values from the Minecraft wiki and they seam to work work fine.
http://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Data_values#Biome_IDs
Also the MCPatcher wiki has some good information too.

I did use the MCPatcher profile.

Glass_ panes won`t work anymore in vers.1.8.3 +1.8.4 (1.8+1.8.1 works correct!)
Is {malware link removed} real? It gives me an installer which then gave me 50 PUPs.
No, that link will give you viruses. The only place to download mcpatcher is from the link in the main post.

Curse PremiumNeed help pls!
I wanted to create some different textures for dark_oak_planks.
I did this:
planks_big_oak.properties
tiles=0-3
method=random
planks_big_oak0.properties
matchTiles=mcpatcher/ctm/nor11/planks_big_oak/0.png
tiles=1
method=random
planks_big_oak1.properties
matchTiles=mcpatcher/ctm/nor11/planks_big_oak/1.png
tiles=2
method=random
planks_big_oak2.properties
matchTiles=mcpatcher/ctm/nor11/planks_big_oak/2.png
tiles=3
method=random
The result is,that it shows me different blocks with mixed textures.What must I do, that the different blocks only have one(their own) texture?
I read the discription about CTM rules at kahrs page, but I can`t figure out exactly what to do.....
pls help
