Liteloader yes, optifine no. Optifine has most of mcpatcher's features anyway.
Correction: Liteloader yes, Optifine... only the lowest version of the mod. Optifine has many of MCPatcher's features, mostly in a watered-down state that lacks functionality. If you want to really enjoy the finer features of the pack's you're using, and don't absolutely need the performance boost, skip Optifine and just install MCPatcher.
You can try to steal my air, I'm not going anywhere but up,up, anywhere but up.Your reign is coming down, I'm not gonna drown. Gonna rise up, yeah I'm gonna light up, never gonna give up. My sun is coming, up. Turn the music,up, up ,up, up(never gonna give up).
MCPatcher never had Natural Textures. That was only an Optifine feature. You can easily recreate the Natural Textures feature in MCPatcher by using Random CTM.
Mmmh... just reinstalled Minecraft (Snapshot 14w30c). When running MCPatcher, every single option in Mods is greyed out and unselectable. I already deleted the 14w30c.jar and redownloaded it, but it doesn't seem to change anything. Any ideas? Is this a compatibility issue with the latest snapshot, or am I the only one with that problem? Running Windows 8.1, btw.
I added MCPatcher to my modded minecraft, made sure the profile was lauching forge 1147+Mcpatcher version and it gave this error and would not launch.

I viewed your video and it does appear you are correct. Mojang does not accept bug reports on modded clients. Understandable really, because they do not control the code and it makes it almost impossible to reproduce and debug the problem. Your only recourse is to set up the fight again and this time with an un-modded client. Sorry I cannot be of more help.

oookkkkkk..... i have a problem. when ever i use MCPatcher to edit armour, the items themselves are fine but the armour... thats a totally different story. and yes, i edited the photo
edit: i added the folder that houses all the images and files
edit 2: how do i upload zip files again?
edit 3: i cant seen to replicate it, and ill try to add each files individually
edit 4: couldn't add the zip file or the individual files so i added spoilers and the images i am using currently
edit 5: i can't upload all 12 images so just use your own leather armour and keep the overlays blank, that's all i can do right now
edit 6: got a dropbox account and added the dropbox link
Is there anyone who can help me with my issue two posts up??
What mods do you have installed? It will help knowing all the mods & what versions of the mods you are using, as well as what version of Forge, Minecraft & MCPatcher you are using too. Once we know all this, we can start trying to help you with your problem.
Also understand that MCPatcher is not fully compatible with Forge. Kahr tries as hard as he can to make them work, but sometimes, he there are bugs that just simply can't get fixed. Forge simply just tells the players to use Optifine when Optifine can't even come close to what MCPatcher can do. They (the Forge Creators) don't like how Kahr is creating & implementing MCPatcher into Minecraft. So Kahr is trying to make the 2 compatible but the Forge Creators aren't really trying.
That sucks a LOT. There is no way that you can really go without Forge these days. Everything needs it. :c
Here's my modlist: (Sorry for the extra notes. This was copy pasta from my Gdoc where I organize our server with my sister. All builds were latest for 7.2 except where otherwise noted.)

I know. Forge is awesome. I wish they'd help MCPatcher work with them. :c
I know... I don't know much about MCPatcher and what makes it tick tho.
Did you see the crash report I posted a few posts up? It had some info on what was conflicting right?

I think the easiest way to go about doing this is to keep MCPatcher operating the same way it is now, except instead of patching the jar, it creates a new jar to be loaded. Editing the jar is still optional. I made a tool that will do this after the fact (Download under Releases).
The hard way (and a better way) is to examine the jar that's launched and see what needs to be patched, then patch the classes in the memory. This will make it more portable between versions and other mods.
How is all of the colored text in color.properties utilized? There's all the 0-9 and a-f that I see, but then there's like 15 more? What do those ones do?
Can you use CTM to make things...connect...'naturally'
Like been able to make the grass blocks next to the bottom of logs have roots sticking out, etc.
And can you make different mob skins per name? So naming a wolf Charlie will give it a different skin?
Short answer, no and no. Neither are possible currently. CTM can only detect blocks or tiles of the same type, so grass cannot detect a log block to connect to. As to mob skins, that is not possible yet. If you have played the snapshots, though, you know that naming a rabbit "Toast" will change the skin, so it may be possible in the future.

A lot of mods use Forge because of the compatibilities it gives modders, & wwwooowww that's a lot of mods to look through.
I know... I don't know much about MCPatcher and what makes it tick tho.
