Okay I can't seem to make the Mc patcher work with the new launcher I added the flag -Dfml.ignoreInvalidMinecraftCertificates=true to minecraft but it still doesn't work to the normal forge profile. Any help would be appreciated.
I don't believe so since it's a non-standard block. Even if there were, the visibility mask that's applied to the redstone would cancel most of it anyway, meaning you'd only see it on redstone that's surrounded on all four sides. Better to just plan around this if possible.
Mind you I'm not 100% sure on that, so it might be worth a try. Worst that can happen is it won't work and you've wasted some time.
it actualy has a block ID,55, but it won't connect if I enter the ID

NOTE: FML will produce many errors during startup complaining about binary discrepancies. These are due to the fact that Forge and MCPatcher modify the same classes and can be safely ignored.
What does Kahr mean when he said that it "can be safely ignored"? Does this mean that there is a way to bypass the binary discrepancies crash? Please help!
OK i have mcpatcher for my mods i love mcpatcher since MC 1.2.5 but i have the tf2 teleporter and dispenser mods installed i cant put any other mods on but MC Capes Viewer. can you tell me why and how to install other mods like optifine and any other mods please regular MC is starting to get boring.
1) Optifine & MCPatcher don't work when both are installed together
2) if you send me a list of all the mods you are (trying) to use I'll try to help you
Anyone have any luck getting MCPatcher to work with GLSL Shader mod?
So far its worked with everything else I've used with Forge, but the minute ShadersModCore is added to the mod folder for Forge the game crashes instantly after the Mojang logo. (I am trying it with only Forge, Shader, and MCPatcher to make sure nothing else is in the way)
Error:
java.lang.IllegalAccessError: tried to access field net.minecraft.client.renderer.texture.TextureManager.field_110585_a from class com.prupe.mcpatcher.TexturePackChangeHandler
I can't seem to figure out if its just part of the mods conflicting or just the entire thing, I love MCPatchers giant list of features but wouldn't mind unchecking a few to have it run. But I've not managed to widdle down the more specific options, any of the main default options seem to cause it alone.

I THINK it's because the GLSL Shaders mod is trying to access a class from MCPatcher. I can't be certain though. (I barely started learning Java)
Can someone link me to a better guide on custom item textures. Maybe even a texture pack that uses cit. I just need to see how it's set up in the properties file because my dumb-ass self can't figure it out with the guide given.

I'm not that familiar with how the ShadersMod works, but a quick peek inside the jar file shows what the problem likely is:
TextureManager is bij.class in 1.6.2. So my guess is the mod is overwriting MCPatcher's changes when it starts up, hence the conflict. And honestly, I can't blame the ShadersMod author in the slightest here. Forge's unilateral push toward runtime base-class edits pretty much forces stuff like this.
The upshot is I don't think there's anything either of us can easily do to fix it.
I'm using the voxel mod pack which comes with mcpatcher, but while installing with forge, it says it can't install mcpatcher. when I manually install it, everything works fine till I try to test or just play.

Bummer. Karyonix is updating the shaders pretty rapidly, I know he aims at getting optifine to work with it again so hopefully that will also translate over to MCpatcher as well. Rolling grass covered hills laced with shadow look really wonderful. Well here is to hope that the modding API isn't far away.
Tiles 63 and 144 are both 32x32 px png files, named respectively.
The file is titled "block60.properties"
I will test it & try to make something work:)

Curse PremiumI'll keep trying for it to work anyway, but if someone can help me to get it to work please help.
it should work for all blocks.
Welcome to your Mansion

1) Optifine & MCPatcher don't work when both are installed together
2) if you send me a list of all the mods you are (trying) to use I'll try to help you
it should work, but most time it doesn't. IF maybe you do it like this(I haven't tested this yet):
it could work. Maybe doing Tile-Based Rules instead of Block-Based Rules, it could work.
So far its worked with everything else I've used with Forge, but the minute ShadersModCore is added to the mod folder for Forge the game crashes instantly after the Mojang logo. (I am trying it with only Forge, Shader, and MCPatcher to make sure nothing else is in the way)
Minecraft 1.6.2
Forge 1.6.2-9.10.0.804 recommended
ShadersModCore-mc1.6.2-f804-v2.0.1-beta7
Error:
java.lang.IllegalAccessError: tried to access field net.minecraft.client.renderer.texture.TextureManager.field_110585_a from class com.prupe.mcpatcher.TexturePackChangeHandler
I'm not that familiar with how the ShadersMod works, but a quick peek inside the jar file shows what the problem likely is:
41312 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/ats.class 3832 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/avt.class 30519 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bfb.class 42957 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bfi.class 9121 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bfn.class 128247 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bfo.class 3621 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bgh.class 11649 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bgy.class 1879 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bhm.class 970 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bhx.class 1472 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bhy.class 2351 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bhz.class 2289 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bib.class 2271 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bic.class 6850 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bih.class 8852 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bii.class 4819 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bij.class 412 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bil.class 1599 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/bip.class 2173 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/biq.class 1643 08-22-2013 08:25 shadersmodcore/replace/blx.classThe upshot is I don't think there's anything either of us can easily do to fix it.

Curse Premiumbut I won't stop trying
Welcome to your Mansion

Optifine problems are to be posted on the Optifine thread, but to answer your question, no, Optifine doesn't support CIT. MCPatcher only feature!
ok
Bummer. Karyonix is updating the shaders pretty rapidly, I know he aims at getting optifine to work with it again so hopefully that will also translate over to MCpatcher as well. Rolling grass covered hills laced with shadow look really wonderful. Well here is to hope that the modding API isn't far away.
