This is not working. All I get is a bunch of folders. I have tried the jarfix thing and it still isn't working. I have tried running as administrator and restarting my computer and still nothing. Is there possible to get a .exe? Please help.
if it saves as a .jar, run it with java.exe... if it saves as a zip, download it with another browser like firefox..or (ewww) I.E.
I'm having trouble with this patcher. Um. I got it installed just fine and the game works with it. However, when I try to open the minecraft.jar file in order to add new mods it always says "Invalid or corrupt jarfile" when I click on the minecraft-1.5_01.jar it says "Failed to load Main-Class manifest attribute from....file address"...I've deleted and reinstall minecraft, I've tried unpatching, but I still get the same error message. Any help would be appreciated.
Also I am sorry if this was answered previously, I couldn't find anything about fixing the error.

the 1.5_01.jar is just a backup for the patcher to use to unpatch... getting the invalid message usually only happens when minecraft isn't closed when you try to open it. make sure the process javaw.exe is not running

Stopping!
I have a 16x16 texture pack but when I click on the mods and texture pack option in the main menu it crashes and tells me this.
I don't get it...
I open mcpatcher, everything works fine, all the correct boxes are selected. However, when I put the texture packs in the texturepack folder, nothing happens when I select them in-game. I have a mac btw.
I downloaded it, double-clicked to open.... and nothing. Not even the opening with WinRAR, just.... nothing. I can open it with WinRAR, but Java won't open it. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the jarfix app linked in the original post?
Have you even tried it, Brille? It's a lot simpler and more versatile than the old patcher, really. :/

make sure the pack isn't zipped in a folder
The texture pack is a .zip format. When I open the mods and texture pack thing in-game, I see the texture packs but when I click on them, nothing happens.
unzip the pack and make sure it is not zipped into a folder
