Is it possible to change the snowman's head texture without changing the pumpkin texture through some kind of CTM? (In other words, is it possible to make MC use 3 other files for the snowman's head instead of the pumpkin files, like what we can do for the button texture for example?)
There is a thing for that. Its called snowman_overlay.png, and I used it in my pack. I haven't got a template handy, but Kahr probably does. There's also one for the mushrooms growing out of the mooshroom.
Suggestion - CTM for blocks of different ID's for example: Gravel next to grass. if gravel's neighbor = grass then display ctm texture. The texture would be something along the lines of the grass overgrowing the edge of the gravel but where gravel is mixed in stone/dirt or on its own it would follow its normal neighbor id = gravel, display normal random CTM.

For the animation part, you simply need to put in your pack a txt file with the same name as your animation file with content like this:

the first number is the frame choosen, the second, when defined is the number of tick for this frame.
In my texture pack, I use the same image 4 times with exactly the same animation, but different timings for glass in ctm
Thank you for your help, but there's no need to get snippy. I didn't even know you had a texture pack (I tend to automatically tune out "Achievement Get" sigs). How would I have known to check it?
I have a question: When I use mcpatcher it gives me all the ctm and such fun. But if I include forge through mcpatcher it seems to disable all ctm. I have tried a couple of times now and each time I use a fresh minecraft.jar and use just mcpatcher, ctm works fine. redo fresh jar, include forge with the mods mcpatcher installs, and ctm is in no effect.
Does forge edit something that disabled ctm effects?
With the Latest forge Build (655) it worked fine for CIT and CTM ...
And theres the other. So many freaking builds for the same MC version and some builds don't work together and not everyone wants to update their mods several times a week to keep up. @.x
But fine, for what is it? the 5th time this patch? I'll update and redo my mods -again- to see if I can get CTM working again.. and see what forge mods break horridly when used together this time.
By the way, the latest is 657 now. So many freaking builds grrr.
