This may not be a MC Patcher problem, but I'm guessing some of the rocket scientists here probably have an answer
I am having the same problem markacashion reported back on 27 Feb with the Better Grass mod - the sides of the better grass blocks are a washed-out grey rather than matching the color of the rest of the block. I have searched the forum but cannot find a resolution to this issue.
I've done all the usual "delete .minecraft folder and reload" tricks with no luck. Any ideas?
The ONLY way I know how to put it back to normal Better Grass is to have Fancy Graphic, I mean unless you play on Fancy Graphics you can't have Better Grass I don't know why. The reason (probably) why it's not working is because on Fancy Graphic Grass has the Biome Tinting to the side, But on fast Graphics it doesn't apply Biome Tinting, So maybe MCPatcher replaces the Side Grass texture with the Top Biome Grass texture & applies Biome Tinting according to your graphic. That's the reason why I think it doesn't work, BUT I might be wrong & this is a bug. Anyways, bug or not, I want Kahr to fix this, please!
Thank heavens for the conversion tool otherwise I would've had some trouble fixing up my CTM (because most of the time I don't know what I'm doing )
I'm still having an issue with mossy cobblestone walls and it may be a problem with how MCPatcher handles CTM. My mossy cobblestone texture is mini doku's decorative stone and not actual moss cobblestone so I just used CTM to direct the game to use a more appropriate texture for the mossy cobblestone wall however it's not working. I am pretty sure my .properties file is okay since prior to 1.5 it worked fine.
I have an issue where my skin doesn't show up. I've looked around but I couldn't find any solution. Even when I got on minecraft.net and uploaded again, it still doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated
i prefer magic launcher but the ability to convert texture packs is truly ingenious! thanks a lot.
edit:
oh but the textures of growing potatoe plants are wrong after converting the texture pack. only the fully grown potatoes look like they should. is this due to my texture pack or is it a common problem?
I think there's an issue with the latest version of mcpatcher. The "mcpatcher-mods" folder is no longer being scanned for patcher mods at launch. One mod I used in the past that had worked in every previous version was the "Disable Mouse Wheel" mod.
Again, to be clear, this isn't a conventional mod installed via zip file, it's something different that uses a .jar file to somehow change the behavior of how mcpatcher patches.
Does anyone have a link to a version that I can use to patch a 1.7.3 jar? If I missed it in the OP I apologize, but upon a second look I don't see anything that could help.

Everytime I switch texturepacks my game crashes, this was not the case with 1.4.7, My heap size is 2096 and even switching from Misas 500 to another 64x64 pack kills the game

I know you're probably already going to do this, so please forgive me for being a nuisance, but will you please incorporate the "White stitching on polygon edges / White lines or black dots between blocks" fix in the 13w11a snapshot into MCPatcher?
The only reason I ask is because the title says it's for that version and, while it does work, it currently re-breaks this fix making minecraft look too horrible to play again.
i guess it was unrealistic, but i was really hoping that along with all the changes that came along with 1.5, we would see the ability to use ctm with mod blocks. i have all these nice stone textures for certain biomes, but without also being able to modify things like idustrialcraft's ores i can't use them without borking mod support.
'false positives' are the words you need to ask google. happens to some programs that show virus-like behavior like keygens or patcher of all kinds altering files. that's all the magic.
Could someone tell me what can i can do with the CTM in 1.5? Because it is not working. The glasses CTM's were converted to a 'CTM' folder, and were put in individual .png's just like the blocks and items were, with the terrain.png and items.png. But now the glasses textures are not connecting anymore. What i need to do?
Anyone else having issues with the connecting textures the glass is not connecting and yes i have mine set on fancy i cant seem to figure out why its not working i also am using Dokucraft idk if thats the issues but it seems to be only glass any ideas?
The reason I use glass/ folder is to have textures separated into sub-categories of global-categories ...
Please make sure your ctm file don't contain "stranger" properties and that images are in the good place.
Please make dure that you activated ctm debuging functionnality and looked into your logs ...
Thanks a lot. Now it's resolved

Here's what's inside:
Block139.properties
But this is how it shows up in game:
when it should look like this:
I'm getting the Swampland doors appearing everywhere.
Here are my properties files...
block64.properties
block64a.properties
block64b.properties
