I switched to a new texture pack, and every time I try to use it, my game crashes. The maker of the texture pack says it cant be the texture pack that is crashing it, because they dont change any code, but that is the only thing that has changed, so I dont know. When I switch back to my old pack, everything works fine. Im posting the crash report, so if anyone can help me out, I would REALLY appreciate it!

hm guys, I have already patched my minecraft.jar and now I want the random mobs enabled but I dont want to redo my mod installation, I have over 13 mods and its long, debugging time for each mod... and idk where I can find the random mobs mod, its class files. do you know what class files the random mobs uses?
I'm making a GUI texture pack, but when I use it, the water and lava animations are(I believe) trying to use custom ones(which don't exist), and are displaying the very ugly lava/water in the regular terrain.png. Is there a way to make it use the default animations without changing options in-game, is there an animated water & lava I can use to counter it, or do I just have to make one? Thanks!
I would love to see the random element of CTM to extend to the items.png. I mean, it would be awesome to see different books appear from a broken bookcase. I don't know if this is actually possible though...

Used with Forge
Forge and MCpatcher don't get along too well, there is a reason that the technic pack uses Optofine instead of MCpatcher. I think that both MCpatcher and forge modify the base minecraft program, which causes a problem. No mater which mod you use the other will always be incomplete.
I just had a thought...
If you were to create a custom animation and apply it to the biome shaders, would it make the blocks applying to that shader cycle through different colours?
If it was clocked correctly, we could make season-changing leaves for our texture packs!
It seems to conflict with magic launcher. I use magic launcher to install my mods but when i click patch, minecraft crashes. i only want to use this for me yo use hd texture packs
Do not be surprised - my English is Google translate. I never play Minecraft without these mods:
ExtraBiomesXl, Industrial Craft, Build Craft, LCTrees++, Metallurgy, Railcraft, Smart Moving, Forestry, Jammy Furniture Mod, Kaevator Super Slopes, Xtra Blocks, ReiMinimap, CraftGuide.
I'm using MCPatcher and Forge together all the time, what's the problem? Just make sure to install Forge and the mods you are using (the ones that go into the .jar) through MCPatcher, and install Forge first (so put it at the top of the mod list in the MCPatcher window) and the Patcher's features last.
I'm not sure that McPatchers - mods and Forge do not use one and same classes.

I use Magic Launcher to run separate versions of Minecraft. It works fine. Don't use Magic Launcher for mods, it's a lot less stable than they say.
Can you randomized stone bricks and/or cracked /moss stone bricks? Anyone have a idea how to do it?
Here's what I have so far for cracked stone brick:
source=/ctm/cmt.png
method=random
tiles=144-151
faces=all
metadata=2
(save name block98.properties)
It just shows up white in my game. Anyone have any ideas? I hate having the same cracks over and over again.
Here's my cmt.png (http://i.imgur.com/NoQ9d.png)
Edit, I made a new cmt file with just glass and the stone brick and that fixed the problem.

...anybody?
@Kahr My minecraft.jar is already modded and I forgot to add random mobs, I want random creeper textures. but I have over 14 mods in and I dont want to repatch and reinstall it, I dont remember the order. Where I can find the individual class files for Randomized Mobs?
Well it sounds like a cool idea but what do you want to hear!? xD
I just think that this would create massive lag everywhere you go if you'd do it with an animation. Also have you thought about how many frames you would need? it would be a 6 gig anim file at the end
I think it would be better to make it something like a 64x1 png file (like the stemcolor.png) with winter on the left, then spring, summer and autumn.
Then the changes in seasons could be timed by the game ... eg. 8 days (ingame) winter, then 8 days transition, 8 days autumn, 8 days transition etc.
You could just specify how many ticks each frame would last in the .properties file that goes with the animation file.

Hello everyone!
Thanks!
Used with Forge
Forge and MCpatcher don't get along too well, there is a reason that the technic pack uses Optofine instead of MCpatcher. I think that both MCpatcher and forge modify the base minecraft program, which causes a problem. No mater which mod you use the other will always be incomplete.
Can I take a stab at it? Just PM you the file once I'm finished, you can stick it into your pack.
...anybody?
Now all the cool mods made on the Forge. Compatible with Forge extremely needs!
ExtraBiomesXl, Industrial Craft, Build Craft, LCTrees++, Metallurgy, Railcraft, Smart Moving, Forestry, Jammy Furniture Mod, Kaevator Super Slopes, Xtra Blocks, ReiMinimap, CraftGuide.
I'm not sure that McPatchers - mods and Forge do not use one and same classes.
ExtraBiomesXl, Industrial Craft, Build Craft, LCTrees++, Metallurgy, Railcraft, Smart Moving, Forestry, Jammy Furniture Mod, Kaevator Super Slopes, Xtra Blocks, ReiMinimap, CraftGuide.
I use Magic Launcher to run separate versions of Minecraft. It works fine. Don't use Magic Launcher for mods, it's a lot less stable than they say.
Kan jag fa en kottbulle?
Here's what I have so far for cracked stone brick:
source=/ctm/cmt.png
method=random
tiles=144-151
faces=all
metadata=2
Still nobody?
You could just specify how many ticks each frame would last in the .properties file that goes with the animation file.
