Does 2.4.1_02 fix the TP thing people were getting, namely the blinding white skies during the day and night and whatever else may have been reported ?
I was wondering if you could add a CTM method in which there are Biome Specific Textures... I have wanted this addition since you added CTM to the patcher, and I believe many artists could find a use for it
He might not need that many, but I do. I'm using CTM to give the door edges different textures, and if it's 3 textures for the visible edges of every half door, 2 halves of a door, and 8 different door placings that each have their own metadata, then I need a bit under 48. Though I can probably reduce it by 8 if I make similar top textures share the same .properties, but that's still more than the 27 .properties files the alphabet provides.

Hey I have a question, I installed ModLoader, TooManyItems, and BetterWorld Generation. Then I tried using Misa's Realistic texture pack, but the textures were bugged. The game as a whole was okay, but after I tried using the MCPatcher to fix the texture glitches when I tried to go into minecraft it gave me the Mojang screen, and then a black screen. What happened here? Did something have a conflict with my mods, or with my texture pack, or both? I had to do a force update and re-install the mods. I still have the texture pack, but it is not active. I unpatched MC patcher and am just using my mods now and it's okay.
Ooo neat. I'm wondering are there certain texture packs that consistently try to implement the latest features of MCPatcher? I'd like to see some of this in action but there are so many packs and I'm guessing only a few of them are on the ball with this stuff.

Misa's 64x Realistic Texture Pack has the most extensive MCPatcher usage out of pretty much any pack ever. It's pretty much the "poster pack" for the capabilites of MCPatcher.

I have stumbled across something odd. A texture pack and my default have merged, even though i repetitively redownload the mine craft file. Any suggestions?

Another update for the latest snapshot. The font rendering differences between 1.2.5 and 1.3.1 have been fixed.
New in this release: Biome- and height-specific Random Mobs. I'll update the OP later, but for now see the sample mob.properties.
Skyboxes can now have different speeds and directions of rotation. See sky.properties.
Wow! Kahr you have raised the bar again. I wonder how long before a familiar friend tries to "usurp" your ground-breaking features. I honestly think you should return the favour...

Kudos to you, buddy! I only managed this for the trapdoor and it took me 20 property files to do it. I do think a more versatile extension system is in order though.

mine is on that list. I'll be updating later today with support for all patcher features... (only have 3 mobs that are textured... but 2 are for randommobs...lol)
The texture Pack Central thread has added tags to texture packs that have mod support. one of them is a symbol for having mcpatcher/optifine mods covered.

Retired StaffI followed the .properties file, and came up with these:
block17a.properties:
block17b.properties:
block17c.properties:
block17d.properties:
It should be loading up this:
But instead, only shows this:
What am I doing incorrectly?
Ive tried your properties and this should work the way you want.
block17.properties:
block17a.properties:
block17b.properties:
block17c.properties:
The letters only start with the second one.

Edit: Appears not...
