Biome specific water colors only works for water surface animations and water particles (>>> particles.png), and you can have biome-specific underwater colors. You can't do anything like that with rain, and I think you are the first who wanna have "biome specific rain colors". I mean: If you have, for example, brown colored swamp water, should there really be brown rain ??? That's strange ....
"Biome specific mob skins" would be amazing (think of sand-colored Creepers in deserts, white creepers in tundra biomes, ...), but no one needs "biome specific rain colors" ...
what if you had a really specific themed pack, and wanted blood rain for one biome, and acid rain for another? I know it's a stretch, but still.
I switch between different kinds of texture packs, some have custom lava and water animations, others don't. So when i switch between one that has and one that hasn't, the one that hasn't gltiches with non-animated, i think MCpatcher should be able to track if a texture pack has custom animated lava or water, so it switches to it without glitching the other texture packs, Also this deletes your mods when you patch the minecraft.jar

Whenever I open MC Patcher, there are no options I can choose (e.g. Better Grass, HD Fonts, etc.).
I have tried re-downloading it, but it doesn't help.
Please help!!
Somewhat major bug with CTM - if you use a mod that refers to additional texture sheets (ones that use Forge's extra sheets, for example), you will get a crash (brief flash of an error report, followed by a black screen) under the following circumstances:
CTM .properties file (in the /ctm folder of a texture pack) that refers to a texture index
Mod that has a block's texture in that index
Block is placed OR chunk with block is loaded
While it can be worked around for most blocks (change it from a terrain properties to a block properties), it doesn't work for blocks like the dispenser or piston.
Could you please fix Better Grass so that the side grass uses the boime grass coloring available in MC? It is just using the grey texture used in generating grass from the terrain file but not selecting any of the biome colors, so it looks like stone on the sides of dirt blocks.
Some scanners detect WS.Reputation.1. It is a false positive that can be ignored. WS.Reputation.1 isn't so much a virus as it is the scanner saying "This file is new, so I don't trust it." See this post by shinji257 for more information.
Norton may be "garbage" by your standard but my ISP gives it to me free and it says there is a virus.
WS.Reputation.1
Norton is garbage because there are better antivirus programs out there that are also free. I've been using AVG for almost a decade and it works just fine. I've never had a virus and AVG has caught a handful over that time period.
I hate to tell eveyone this but i tired to download it though ad.fly and i think possibly the file has been infected my avast stopped it so let the creators know.
i have downloaded this before though this link and had no issues so it is a new issue not old

Avast has now joined Norton's idiot parade. The file is not infected.

does skycolor-1 work for the nether 'sky'? i can see you can change the lightmap-1, but what i've tried with skycolor doesn't seem to work.

norton sucks - use a decent anti-virus

BTW tried the connected textures mod on the most recent snapshot (12w25a) and it didn't work. Game booted up fine but the textures weren't connected.

A little help here on WHY Nortonthinks it's unsafe?
Any thoughts?
You don't want to know me XD
My thought is uninstall Norton. It is the worst program I have ever seen and it does you no good.
