Amazing! I really like the Patcher, Im using a Mac and makes installing Mods very easy for me, thanks!
I do have a quick question, I am running the most recent version, I install all the mods I want, Patch it, test Minecraft, all is well. I save my profile, exit out of McPatcher.
I will later open Patcher up again to add another mod or make some changes, I load up my profile and its missing most of the mods I had previously installed.
Now as long as I don't patch it again my game is fine, though I will have to re-patch all missing mods before adding any new ones.
Even if I add for example 10 mods at the same time, when I reload my patcher 6 will be missing. kinda weird.
I'm having a crash error upon loadup of using the latest version thats for DL here. I get this whenever I even try loading up MC and logging in.

Got an issue, I am using the latest version of mcpatcher, and whenever I patch the game, and install my mods, it crashes when I try changing texture packs.
I installed without optifine, and with all mcpatcher mods installed.
I saw Kahr's status update, and it says better grass conflicts with modloader, so I unchecked it, grabbed a new .jar, and patched again, getting the same crash.
These are the steps I did this last time:
Opened minecraft and checked I was on default texture pack.
Close minecraft and open mcpatcher
Check all but better grass
Change java heap to 2048(I have 3 GB ram)
Patch
Close mcpatcher, open mods folder.
Install modloader, modloaderMP, then my folder with all my other mods(Except optifine)
Open minecraft
Click my texture pack
Black screen
I am on a Windows 7 32-bit. Mods I have installed
Nevermind, figured out at this point that 2 GB is too much to allocate for a 3GB ram laptop.
I decreased it to 1GB and it works fine.
Just in case, anyone know the highest amount I can allocate? I hate going out of memory, and would prefer to use 128 resolution texture packs.
EDIT: No, it doesn't work fine, when I decreased the java heap size, I installed better grass, then I tried connecting to a server, and it crashes. So I ask again, is there a modloader conflict?

Hey, is it possible to use random textures for a block ID while also specifying metadata? I'm trying to do random textures for oak leaves, but since birch leaves use the same terrain texture, as well as block ID, the only way it'd work is with metadata.
errrrrrr.... from what i've seen it looks like a great thing, except I can't find anywhere to download it! All I'm given is "download it in correct operating system" and it's probably me just being technologically braindead but I have no clue how or where to download it. Could somebody please explain this to me?

...and those 16x packs that make use of Kahrs other ingenious goodies, such as animated terrain, items, other textures, special colour effects, Randomobs, CTM extras, BetterGrass, etc, etc...
However, you are perfectly right in saying only 32x and above 'need' MC Patcher to function satisfactorily, in terms of banishing graphical glitches, etc.
So is SPHaxx Pure BD Craft gonna be updated for 1.3 ? I am pretty excited to play 1.3 so i wont mind using default if I have to. I am just asking because I figure with the snapshot that thee TP could be ready at the same time as 1.3

Retired StaffIf a person wanted.
CTM requires 48 textures per block, so requiring a certain number of textures is nothing new for the MCPatcher.
I do have a quick question, I am running the most recent version, I install all the mods I want, Patch it, test Minecraft, all is well. I save my profile, exit out of McPatcher.

As of this post, that I am currently making, the topic title says 12w21a
I'm sure you can see it, too, if you scroll to the top of the page OR if you simply look at your internet browser's title bar.

I don't get it!
MCPatcher is working with 12w21b, at least for me.
The TP's are the ones that must be updated, specially regarding to the new Creative inventory GUI.
