I dunno whats up, but here is my delima.
If I patch with the latest mcpatcher, then install my mods(about 18 of them, modloader included), Whenever I try to click on a texture pack, it crashes.
So I tried going back to optifine(I had issues with optifine).
If I use Optifine A11, my mycelium isn't animated anymore, and Zombe highlight/fullbright doesn't work,
If I use optifine A2, mycelium IS animated, and highlight works, but Connected textures revert to default connected bookshelves, connected glass, and connected sandstone.
I am using misa's 64x pack. Any suggestions?

Misa asks users to not use Optifine for the minor things in her pack it does not (yet) support. I personally think that makes little noticable difference, but yeah. To fix the Zombe issue, I suggest using CJB as a supplement, if not total replacement. (I have never checked to see if they work together so tread wisely!) It is a modloader mod (aka no jar install) and has almost everything Zombe multiplayer has, and a lot of the things Zombe singleplayer has too.

I tested whilst zombe highlight didn't work, using singleplayercommands' light command, and it was still dark, placing torches(Or glowstone, lamps, or jack-o-lanturns) was the only way to get light.

Try to use CJB XRAY alongside Zombe (XRAY has night vision in it, but you don't need to install the JAR half of XRAY to get it to work.) http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/240772-v125-cjb-mods-v611-08-05-2012-test-build/
There are other things in CJB you may find useful replacements to Zombe, including AN IN-GAME GUI! Enough of the subtle (not) advert though, it makes sense neither works, Both are Jar mods, both do the same thing, both would edit the same file. Just try CJB please? It might fix your problem.

No offense, but I don't use zombe orefinder, mobfinder, etc.
I try not to focus on the cheats aspect, and I believe CJB focuses on cheats a bit too much.
For instance, it has an actual xray hack/mod included in it.
Zombe just has an orefinder/marker.
The easier it is to use, the more cheating it is.
I'd prefer to just not use CJB.
Of course...I didn't want to use macro mod over improvedchat, but now that I have macro mod...lol
Improved chat and macro mod are compatible with each other just as CJB and zombe are compatible.

Ah, but I use CJB and cannot xray. If you do not install the files that say "drop in minecraft jar FOR XRAY ONLY" then xray and cavefinder do not function. Light, however, still will. And, it is not like you have to install any of the other parts of CJB. The other thing I like about it is how easy it is to pick and choose what you do and do not want. Don't want cheat? Install xray, without jar addon, and nothing else. Done. No xray, just fullbright. I forget which part of CJB does the equivalent of highlight, though. That may be more info, which does have ore finder, a full blown cheat in it :/
So you wake up on a beach one day, and remember NOTHING. (Except your degree teachings in Engineering, Wilderness Survival, Metal work, Physics, Tech, Psychology, History, Dynamics, and Blocks.) You mine and build and survive for years and years.
I have a custom default.properties file for the font in my texture pack. But since snapshot 12w19a (I didn't try 12w18a, so I don't know if it had this problem as well) the space between each character is now much smaller so everything is cramped together. I'm using the latest version 2.3.6_03. Is this normal? Thanks.
I think another wonderful addition to this would be textures based on the damage of blocks and entities.
Example:
You have a texture of diamond just peeking out of the rock. As you hit it, the diamond is more exposed using the textures. Similar to terrain animation, but each image slot represents the damage stage.
Another example:
You are slaying zombies. You slice at them, and soon, their textures start to get "flesh wounds".
One way this could be done is using folders. Example:
Optifine Reduces my framerate by half with lowest settings so Idk whats up, I prefer McPatcher anyway. But for some reason My water shader mod is conflicting with my McPatcher's better grass. When Patch with McPatcher then add the water shader files to .mincraft It works but this happens.
The sides of my grass are white.
If I add the folders before I patch, The grass works but the water is normal.
Could anyone help me out? I had It working before.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong with my setup here? I'm running a vanilla .jar, except for HD Textures, Colors and CTM from MCPatcher (also testing on optifine + mods and mcpatcher + mods .jars). I'm trying to randomize my cobblestone.
ctm/terrain16.properties
method=random
source=ctm/myctm.png
tiles=0-15
The entire first row of my 256x256 myctm.png is all the textures I want it to randomize from. When using just the patched .jar, it just doesn't apply any effects. When using the optifine .jar (I know this is the MCPatcher thread!) I get a bunch of weird white/black markings.
edit: I'm so ****ing dumb holy ****- I just needed the /ctm/ not ctm/
For those having difficulty using HD texture packs with RedPower (and for those who say it's a problem on RedPower's part), have a look at this post.
Not only that, but ComputerCraft gets the SAME problem when MCPatcher's HD fix is applied.
Both the Machine module of RedPower and the ComputerCraft mod use animated textures for one or more of their blocks, and since both mods work fine when using Optifine's HD fix, I can only assume that MCPatcher is the one causing the problem.
What Minecraft version are you trying to patch? If you're using 1.2.5 or later, are you using the latest MCPatcher version? Also make sure you have selected the right file to patch.
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

Is it a mod incompatibility, or a bug/glitch? Anyway, thanks if you can solve this problem.
