What colours can I actually use for changing the redstone colour? It seems that not all colors are working.
Any colour should work. You have to make the redstone wire in the terrain.png a lightish shade (no colours in beside white, black or inbetween) and in the misc folder add the redstone.png file as it says in the mcpatcher description thing somewhere. If you want check my texture pack (the image below) because it has green redstone so unzip it and have a look at the misc folder where the redstone.png is
Do you kno how i can install CJB Mods with mcpacther?
Texture Pack items go into the Texture Pack folder, drag and drop the items that go into the minecraft folder and for the .jar, go into CJB's minecraft.jar folder, move them to the main CJB folder and zip just those files. Delete them and keep the zip when finished. Then use MC Patcher to place the zip into the jar.

Can you make a vid? if not ill try to figure it out
Are you installing your mods via McPatcher? If you're not, that is the reason why you're mods will not work when you use McPatcher.
No matter how i stall my mod with or without mcpatcher my mods or the texture packs don't work right. which is odd because I never had this problem before
hey so i downloaded the patcher and i followed the steps but when i went to test it. the moving lava texture was the standard "Please use MC Patcher" and when i ended the test it said
ERROR: CustomAnimation: /anim/custom_lava_flowing.png dimensions 64x3256 do not match 64x64
so how do i fix this?
Furious1964 i was talkin bout a video on how to install it with mcpatcher. i have it installed already its just wen i use mcpatcher the mod cancels out

The height of the image has to be evenly divisible by the base dimension. In this case, 64. That means the height of the image would have to be 3,264 for 51 frames of animation.
On an unrelated subject, Forge and Custom Colors seem to be having a bit of a disagreement. If I install forge first, the game refuses to load. If I install CC first, the game loads... only to crash when I try to load a world. No error is generated in either case. (Not by modloader anyway. Is there another way?) Regardless, I was wondering if everyone else who's having trouble with Custom Colors is also using Forge. Also, have any of you found a way around this problem? And if not, Kahr, is there anything you can do on your end to fix this?

Ok someone please help me. So i downloaded CJB mods correctly and its up nd working. But the only problem is when i use McPatcher the mod cancels out so i have to download the mod all over again. This means i cant use McPatcher with CJB mods downloaded. Someone help me on how i can use both of them without not being able to use CJB mods. Thanks
Ok, I think I have done everything right, but nothing has show up in the texture pack folder... Not even greyed out things. Here's what I did:
I downloaded a texture pack (Misa's 64x64 realistic pack). Just to be safe, I unzipped it, opened the resulting folder, and compressed the items within the folder. I immediately proceeded to move my .zip file into the texture pack file. I checked my texture pack area in Minecraft (1.2.3), and all I had was the default. And yes, I did patch it with the latest version of MCpatcher beforehand.
I'm not sure if Minecraft is trolling me, texture packs no longer work on OSX Lion, my MCpatcher lied and is out of date, or I'm just a noob and forgot something. Whatever the case, please help me out ASAP, because I have been working on this all day.
