When i went to patch to use Misa's HD, I coudnt click on the "Custom Colors" in the patch menu. It seemed to be whited out. Before (for 1.0) I was able to click it to select the "Custom Colors". Not shure why it does this, is it because my computer cant handel this? Not shure if anyone else has this problem. Major Troll.
Thanks
This is also happening to me. It works fine when patching alone, but if I try to patch with other mods it either won't let me install Custom Colors, or it gives me weird in-game glitches. For example, if Custom Colors and Forge are in the same room together, furnaces will only produce a single smelted item no matter how many it processes. Why would colors glitch a furnace?! :blink.gif:
Please fix this soon. I want custom colors, but I also want to use my Forge- and ModloaderMP-enabled mods. :sad.gif:
Im having a MAJOR problem with this heres the thing it gave me

Sorry for the rant seems re Downloading MCpatcher fixed my problem and again sorry ._. tbh I just guested on reDLing it :unsure.gif:
I've encountered a problem with MC Patcher: When I use it with Custom Colors active for Misa's Texture Pack and I have Optifine AND CJB's Mod installed, X-Ray, Night Vision and Tunnel Finder from CJB's Mod don't work. Can you please look into this?

Life is a Learning Curve.... Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
I have a very annoying problem. I played on Snapshot 12w03a, and now whenever I open MCPatcher, no matter how many times I delete minecraft.jar12w03a, it creates a copy of the 12w03a file. My Dokucraft texturepack doesn't work on 12w03a, Please help, I want the previous version but I can't seem to locate a valid download.
Wow, thanks for nothing, I just installed all these mods, took all this time, got everything ready to go, and you've designed this so I can't use it with a modded jar, destroying all my effort.
Why would you design it this way? More importantly, is there a way to circumvent this, or will I have to do that myself?

How about you learn the benefits of MCPatcher instead of launching on an ignorant rant?
MCPatcher is designed to install its features via pattern matching instead of modding class files and then dropping them in the jar. It's a better system for many things. Secondly, MCPatcher let's you manage your mods with ease. It requires a clean jar so that it can keep track of what's changed and what hasn't. Once you've selected your mods, you won't have to do it again. You can patch and patch as many times as you want, enabling and disabling mods as you go. It's really a better system. If you are still dropping classfiles in the jar directly, you're doing it wrong. Judging by your ignorance and anger, my guess is you really are doing it the slow and idiotic way. Even if you had ten mods, installing them with MCPatcher is trivial and takes at most a minute or two.

Delete all the minecraft jar files and then relaunch. The launcher will redownload minecraft.jar and then you can try MCPatcher again.

I care? I don't like being boxed into using only someone's software when there's a myriad of other choices and programs and loaders out there, forcing it on people isn't cool, I've never experienced that with a modloader/patcher before, I don't look favorably upon it.

You aren't boxed in, at least not anymore than you are with ModLoader or the other launchers/mod managers (in fact, MCPatcher is fairly hands off and it even supports ModLoader if you want to go that route -- hardly a box in).
But if you really can't stand using a system that's easy and hands off and just have to have the fun and pain of installing classfiles directly, or using yet another mod manager, then you can just use OptiFine, which provides a lot of the same functionality as MCPatcher, with the exception of fog and sky colors.

I am, I have to wipe it clean and allow this to integrate and keep tabs, otherwise it locks down the options I need for the texture pack, ModLoader doesn't deny me its features until I clean out all other mods, fair difference. I don't call hands off the need to get its fingers into all my mods by way of uninstalling them and reinstalling them through its exclusive interface.
Thanks! Stunning, through all the insults you somehow managed to give me the information I needed, I can use OptiFine, and after looking at it, I don't have to destroy my jar and reinstall all my mods through an exclusive interface, it's as if the developer understands my desire to use what I wish.

What are you even talking about? It doesn't do anything to your other mods. It happily loads those files into your jar as if you did it manually. It will gray out its own options if they would conflict with the mods you have installed or are planning to install. Why you think this is a problem is beyond me. Without it detecting that situation, it would end up giving you a jarfile that doesn't work. Is that what you want? Honestly, I can't really understand your complaint, probably because you think you know more about what you're doing than you actually do.

Truly a "hands off" approach, good day. =)
You still don't get it, but at least you are making progress. Also, don't expect to come in, guns blazing, and expect people to respond kindly to you.

It requires me to uninstall them and install them through only it, or it will gray out options until I do so, and honestly, with everything else being capable of allowing mods without their loader, and not producing a broken jar, I don't understand why that would be an issue, and if it is then that is very unfortunate indeed.

You do it once. The mods will stay in MCPatcher and you can keep reapplying them or updating them one at a time. It's a one time cost, and not much of one. Get over it.
Exasperation is not guns blazing, insulting someone repeatedly is, perhaps your own advice suits you best.
Your post was not just exasperation. "Sorry I don't want to use your pack because I refuse to deal with a simple modloader because I can't be arsed to understand how it works and I'm going to accuse it of being a piece of **** instead of reading the first post or asking relevant questions". Yeah, that's guns blazing, not exasperation.
Kahr, I was wondering for the next release, if it'd be possible to allow custom coloring for the experience number text (That appears above the experience bar). The lime green doesn't fit in with a lot of packs, including my GeruDoku fan update, so I'd appreciate it if you could possibly add that feature.

Why this annoying error happening ? i already unistaled minecraft , deleted bin folder , minecraft folder , updated to a new version and the mc patcher versio too and it keeps getting error even unpatched
The title says that MCPatcher 2.3.1_01 is compatible with the 12w03a snapshot, but I've tried it multiple times and keep getting a black screen when launching it after patching. Fresh .jar every time.
Hah no. The version you were using is so old it isn't even on the version history anymore.
