Neither way works: If I first use Tekkit-install Mcpatcher tells this HD-Texture won't fit for Colorized Water and Grass not matching classes and if used vice versa Tekkit is yapping about Problems. At starting the client afterwards it simply hangs without error-message...
If anything would work, it would be Tekkit then MCPatcher. I believe Tekkit includes Optifine, so you don't need HD Texture, HD Font, or Better Grass anyway, but Custom Colors is a problem. I'll give it a look, but Custom Colors maps so many classes that I'm not very optimistic.
it seems that there is an issue with the Custom Colors mod in the MCPatcher and th 4096BlockIds Standalone Mod and 13inc's MoreThan256BlockIDs. Maybe you should check your code to respect the three rules mentioned in the 13inc's MoreThan256BlockIDs Mod thread.
Guilty as charged. Next update will use Block.blocksList.length.
When i install a mod, and select a texture pack, the game crashes.
PS: why it adds doggy talents and millenarie?
Because you had those mods installed the first time you ran MCPatcher. Delete minecraft.jar and minecraft-1.0.0.jar from the bin folder and redownload use the Minecraft launcher. Then patch again.
May I suggest a mod? You know how the Enderman_eyes, Spider_eyes, and Ender_eyes (Enderdragon) make those parts specified glow in the dark? You should add a mod part that makes it so all mobs do that if the texture pack supports it!
Is it possible to make it so if you have mods installed, when you patch it doesn't remove them all? If i add them it says it conflicts and some mods are disable when they don't conflict

I should have an update ready this weekend. There are some new features like custom sky and fog colors that I am working on with Misa's help.

Yes, but uncheck HD Textures, HD Font, and Better Grass. Be sure to start with a clean minecraft.jar (see above) and add Optifine with the + button.
So then that means we can change the Fog/atmosfere color of the Nether, Overworld and The End? :ohmy.gif:
I'm using MyCraft and I just decided now that I want to put in the HD Patch
Is there a version of this patch that doesn't use MC Patcher, so I can manually put it in, and therefore test if it works with my mods?
Or do I just have to hope that it all works in the end?
Edit: Nope, it wasn't compatible
But could you possibly provide a version of the HD patch for manual installation (or point me to it, I couldn't seem to see any)
so the guy in there said I should install mcpatcher so I did...
after installing mcpatcher, my water is now red! hooray! :biggrin.gif:
but then there came another problem...
when I jumped into the water,
the color of the water is blue again
the same with the water particles O_O
I want everything red...
before I installed the patcher, the only problem was
the waters overview was blue and not red
but the view when you are underwater was red the same with the particles...
I don't know why it became vice versa after I installed the patcher O_O
I checked my texture pack and the particles and water color are still red though...
so what the hell is wrong this time??? :sad.gif:
how do I turn the particles and water view beneath red?
My "HD textures" option is greyed out really stupid.
You have mods that conflict installed. Run MCPatcher first.

I need help growing my newly adopted dragon. If you have spare time, please, click on him. I want this egg/hatchling to grow very strong! Thanks in advance.
New update 2.3.1 with support for snapshot 12w01a. New features include custom fog, sky, and underwater colors for each biome. This will greatly improve the atmosphere of the game as texture packs support it.
I must say Kahr, as a nooby when it comes to installing mods, supporting these mods and
texture enhancements is greatly enhancing the game experience for me. Thanks!
I'm sure others have mentioned to you the possibility of CTM Support... Is is a potential go?

Every update gets better and better! I really appreciate the work, especially since you are working with Misa, who makes the only texture pack I can stand to use on Minecraft.
One question: do you think it would be possible to "borrow" OptiFine's better snow feature? It makes tall grass and fences and such have snow under them when nearby ground blocks are snowcovered. The snow biomes look a lot better that way.
I'm having trouble making my hd texture work properly (LB Photo Realism inside a modded Minecraft; SPC and Aether 1.04). Is there anyway to make this hd texture pack work with the Aether 1.04??
Yes, run it. That's how it's suppose to be.
I'm asking you, as a friend... Just...put an end to me.
Okay, thanks.

TG: john is TG: im not

I have been trying to turn water into blood all day :sad.gif:
it started in this thread:

I have a properly installed and working MCPatcher.
Test Minecraft results in a functioning and non-glitchy game session.
However, if I attempt to launch the actual game
my terminal says;
I'm not sure what's going on? Should I remove everything and start again or does the MCPatcher process mean I need a different launcher command?
I use CrunchBang linux, by the way.. It's Debian based. Similar to a stripped-down Ubuntu.
This is probably the biggest innovation in Texture Modding that we have had in a while. You are more than welcome to have my babbies Kahr.
Is there a list of what the block numbers on the custom animations correspond to? Or are they just in reading order going left to right?Nevermind I figured that out. What is the framerate on them though?
