i have a full modded minecraft.jar that i save with all the mods in it. i get a new mod, and if not compatible, then i replace the new messed up .jar with the modded one. is there any way i can actually kep all my mods (i have a ton)and still get the patcher?
Okay, I found that with the HD texture fix installed, minecraft throws out this error over and over and over again. What's funny, is that it makes a lag spike really bad every time it throws it out.

A quick question. Would i be able to have a texture for a surface of a block double the pixels of the normal size, for example a 16x animated texture with a 8x pack?
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I can't find zip files for mods. Not sure where to look, like a mod loader zip for example. Any suggestions?
Euhm. When I wanna use a mod I also want's a texture pack. So I used MCP and then I was installing MinecraftForge. I have tested all and MCP doesn't work with MinecraftForge. Do you know the problem because I wanna use the texture pack.
First of all don't call it MCP, MCP is Minecraft Coders' Pack.
If it is incompatible use OptiFine
I agree, Kahr. Could you please just make a quick update for the snapshot fot the week? 11w49a Thanks! We'd all greatly appreciate it!
The FontRenderer class changed in this snapshot due to the Unicode support. Working on an update now. I've almost got it, but there's one last bug to fix.
Edit: And done. See OP for details. Also a new nifty feature for texture pack authors.
My .Jar is just a file and I can't right click and Open With
