Restoring original minecraft.jar due to previous error
*Sigh*
It could be because of some kind of conflict, just keep your saves, screenshots and texture packs but delete everything else in the .minecraft folder, and then let minecraft re-download itself. Doing this might fix it.

there was just a patch today..didn't/don't you have to re-install them anyway? o.O
Having a crapload of mods messes the patching process to begin with, usually the only way I can get the patcher to work is to start with a clean minecraft.jar. Lately it's been easier to do that since I use MyCraft (a modmanager) so that I can install mods without modifying minecraft.jar. Another thing that I used to do was put all the class files for the mods I used in a folder to make sure there were no conflicts, it also serves the double purpose of making it much easier to reinstall mods. Consider doing something like that :tongue.gif: it helps.
What do you mean? if you patch it correctly switching texture packs from within the native pack selector should switch to custom lava/water automatically.
It was working earlier, but now it crashes and closes MineCraft every time I change the texture pack. I think I know the problem, I probably just have to reinstall.
Disregard that, it's working perfectly now. :] Thanks for making this, it really needs to be implemented in the game.

i patched it and added in my pack and it can't even find the pack :|
Actually, never mind, it seems I'm having the same problem again. It's patched, and it works fine. But it seems that only for the first time opening MineCraft after patching the texture selector works. If I use it now, after I've closed it and run MineCraft again, then if I try to select a different texture pack, then my MineCraft crashes and it closes itself.
How can I fix this? I'm only running two mods, which are ConvenientInventory and Optimine, which are bother compatible with 1.4_01.

I have both those mods installed as well and I have it working, you should do the following:
[*:13qc6gr6]apply the HD fix and the HD font fix
[*:13qc6gr6]install convenient inventory and Optimine normally except don't add the ox.class for Optimine
Okay. I clearly don't understand this new patcher.
Using 64x pack.
I just updated to 1.4_01.
Did just as it said. Dragged the .zip texturepack to the texturepacks folder, and ran the patcher. Nothing happened to the textures.
did you choose the tex pack from the in game menu?
In the .rar folder, I just have "com" , "javassist", "newcode" and "META-INF" folder. There is no .exe file or file I can launch. Is it normal ?
So, how can we use this new patch ?
Thx.
dont unzip it... run it with java... .jar=.exe in java lang.. if it unzips by default when you double click it, right click/go to properties/ set runs with to java.exe.. then try again

Curse Premiumyou can't use any mods with browser version...
edit: that cjb minimap thing is weird...I'm using it fine, mind you I haven't updated from 1.4 yet to 1.4_1.. maybe the mods new coding is off?
Alright, thanks for the quick response.
Hm, there was a small fix for the cjb mods files maybe that changed something ?
EDIT: He updated again, but the same thing happens :/ (but disabling the map in the menu stops it so it's not a big deal I guess)

What do you mean by "it can't even find the pack?" it isn't showing up in the texture pack selection?
