ERROR: /Users/Michael/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar missing or corrupt
Where do you have the Minecraft bin folder saved? If it is not in the above location given in the Log, I thought it was meant to ask you to point it to the actual path. Otherwise, just move your Minecraft folder to the above location.
Im trying to use the patcher in Mac 10.5, it works, but it wont let me press the plus sign to add mods!
It just does nothing, the "Origin" and "Output" inputs flicker, thats about all..
:sad.gif:
it works fine on my windows machine, How can i fix this?
i think i'm having problems with the patcher.. i can't use the JohnSmith texture pack at all and mixcraft hd blocks (especially visible on sand and dirt/grass) have a border while torches, saplings, flowers have Xs over them and tools have floating pixels. also some textures are blurry. i've asked around and was told it could be an anti-aliasing issue (makes sense with blurriness but not the floating pixels and lines above torches and saplings) but i couldn't figure out how to change AA settings on a mac. any suggestions?
EDIT: i unchecked HD textures (left HD font) when i repatched it this time and mixcraft hd works just fine while the johnsmith pack doesn't and T42's texture pack gets rid of all buttons on the main screen.
New update 2.1.0_02. See OP. The link to the platform-independent (.jar) version on github does not work at the moment. The .exe version is fine. The .jar upload failed the first time and I need github to remove it before I can reupload it. Non-Windows users please use the dropbox link for now.
I am having the same problem as hordskitare. I start MCPatcher, can't check the HD Textures or HD Font.I Patch the game. I test the Game. The Textures are still not working. I re-patch the game. I re-test it. The textures are still not working. Please, help me with this problem.

I have a question:
which version do I need for MineCraft Beta 1.5_1? I don`t update MineCraft incause of MY SERVER and MC version 1.6.6 didn`t work as good as 1.5_1 on my pc. Please help me.
Pretty sure 2.1.0_02 is supposed to work on all versions. :ohmy.gif:
Your limiting factor is definitely the Integrated Graphics. Simple answer is, your laptop simply can't handle the HD textures.
Everything else in your laptop is capable of running Minecraft pretty easily. Although, I thought the Intel HD 3000 Integrated graphics (which is what I'm pretty sure you have) could pull at least 60 fps on Minecraft.. I read a review on it back when the new iCores were released in laptops.
Question.. Are you trying this with the laptop connected to the AC Power? Or running off battery? If it's off battery, then it's because Windows has switched to PowerSaver mode. If it's on AC power, still check to see if it's using Balanced, or High Performance mode. You will get the best results running on High Performance mode, both on battery and AC Power.
I have had it on gaming mode and it is attached to a power cord. I am sure that I have the integrated graphics of which you speak. I am confused. I got this laptop for college and I was really excited that I could play Minecraft easily no matter what. Now I am sad because I cant use a pretty texture pack. :sad.gif:
Thank you for creating this fine program! Even though I barely wish to go any further than x64 with my textures on this machine this helped so much in making it possible.
i put my texturepacks in the texturepacks file in .minecraft
i start mcpatcher and when i have finnish loading i can't confirm the HD front and textures
i push patch buttom and start minecraft and then i just became black screen nothing else
what do
Do you have Optifog or Optimine installed?
If so delete jf.class from minecraft.jar.
After this, minecraft will crash after you change texture packs but when you open minecraft again you will have that texture pack.
Or uninstall Optimine or Optifog.

I just used this for the first time, and a minecraft-1.6.6.jar exists in my bin folder now. What is it? Do I need to install mods in both this new .jar and the actual minecraft.jar? I really wish the OP explained what exactly this program does. I'd much rather alter/replace files myself than not know what has actually been changed.

That jar is a backup of the original jar...
Or the jar that you had before you opened the patcher.
Stuff like this doesn't need to be explained in the OP, because it's quite obvious :S

my username is blanked for security reasons
Whenever I open it, it goes REALLY blurry. As in illegibly blurry. I can't read what the text says, nor any of the buttons.
Here's a screenshot of what it looks like:

That isn't poor image quality, that is what is actually appearing on my monitor.
If anyone has a solution for me, it would be greatly appreciated. =)
Never mind, I figured it out. If anyone ever experiences blurry screens like this. Disable morphological filtering. It will do wonders!
