Alright, I decided to make a texture pack, which I just started, and here's a picture of what I've done so far: http://img135.imageshack.us/i/terrainhp.png/
I've only edited the TNT, stone, bricks, planks and stone slabs.
Whenever I go in-game with the pack, all the roses andtorches and doors have white all around it where you should see through... any help please?

Well, I have no idea how to fix that, and I fear noone will download my pack, so I'll just stop.

Smooth coloring will not affect lagg, even though it may be a solid color, the computer still must render shadows and stuff for every pixel.

Well, I'll still make smooth coloring, since this is my first texture pack.
