Hello. I'm new to the forums and I thought I'd start off with posting a texture pack.
The pack is a simple, softer variation on the default textures that come with Minecraft. (Yes, another one of those I guess. :tongue.gif: )
I started making it one evening when I decided to remove the "clutter" from the glass texture, and I sort of just went with it.

Thank you very much for the reply. :smile.gif:
I don't use any mods, so I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for the information!
The files should now be updated. Please let me know if I did something wrong.
I just unmasked the default textures that's unused by the game by default.
Here is the Download link again.
The first post is updated as well.
Thanks for the comment Mojave. Sorry for the very late answer. hehe.. :smile.gif:
I'm aware that this pack isn't very exiting, but I tried to tweak the things I wanted to change in the default pack without making stuff irrecognizable. :smile.gif:
The terrain file is updated for 1.5 now. I have also tried making some gui elements. (Crafting, furnace, inventory etc..)
I have updated the Download Link in the first post. :smile.gif:
Thank you very much. I really apprechiate it. :smile.gif:
About the 32x version, I'm not planning to make one, but who knows.
I haven't installed any mods yet, and my plan is to keep it that way. But I'm not totally reluctant to install any mods that's not a gamebreaker, so.. maybe. hehe. :smile.gif:
Thanks alot cheesepolice. :smile.gif:
There are some blocks I really want to update, but I have been busy doing other things lately.
Vacation is close so maybe I'll get a chance during summer. :smile.gif:
The iron, gold and diamond blocks are some of the ones I want to change.
It will be somewhat challenging to change stuff without going too far from the original textures.
The texturepack is now updated for 1.7. I have also updated the download link in the first post. :smile.gif:
Aaaand I just noticed the sides of the cake texture was moved to the bottom of the tiles as well. They should now be updated and look as it's supposed to. :smile.gif:
I've actually installed the hd texture patcher, and I have done some quick tests on animated water. Without the hd patcher the liquids look like the normal Minecraft ones, but with the patcher it looks pretty bad, so it's definitively something I would like to look into. :smile.gif:
As for the items and such, there are just so many. And I don't want to just make new ones to make new ones. So that too will take some time if I ever get around to it.
And I wouldn't say that HD packs sucks. They just have to be done right. I don't like the "realistic" ones as I think they really don't mesh good at all with the blocky nature of Minecraft. But I've seen some 32x32 packs I really like. F.ex.DokuCraft has some very good stuff to it. :smile.gif:
Thanks alot trineops and CursedCG. :smile.gif: That was what I was going for. There are, as I mentioned, still a few blocks that didn't get enough love, but all in all it's a texture pack that does what I wanted it to do. In other words; It works for me. :wink.gif:
The fact that some other people likes it is a very nice and appreciated bonus. :biggrin.gif:
So, again, thanks alot for checking it out. :smile.gif:
This is the best 16x16 texture pack that dosnt stray too far from the original textures and still looks good! Amazing job on the Texture Pack :smile.gif:
Skullmonkeys44430: Hehe. I'm sorry I kept you waiting. I've been quite busy lately. So between work and quality time with my kids and girlfriend I have been playing 1.8. Tonight I took the time to update ut tho. I've been missing it myself while playing, so...
I have uploaded an updated version and the texturepack should now be compatible with minecraft 1.8 & 1.8.1.
Here is the Download Link. The link in the first post is also updated.

I'm so sorry Skullmonkeys44430. I will update the texture pack as soon as I find som spare time.
I've been busy with other things on my spare time for a long time. I guess it's time to take a look at this pack again. I've been using the default texture pack for a while now myself, so I kinda forgot about my own pack.
That doesn't excuse me from not answering you for over a month though. I'm sorry about that.
Thank you again for the interest in my pack. I need to get working on the new stuff.
I will probably (hopefully) update during 1.2. I just need to find the time to sit down and actually do it. I really want to remake some of the already existing textures as well. But I think I need to prioritize the new blocks. Just to get back on track. :smile.gif:
Of course you are welcome to share your ideas. I already have some thoughts on how I want to do a couple of the new blocks, but ideas are always welcome.
