Hey mac users, today i am going to show how to make your own textures on mac. first, go into your library folder, then find application support, then a folder called minecraft. open that folder and go into bin, then right click (or control click for laptops) minecraft.jar and move your mouse over open with.... and click archive utility. then it should create a folder inside bin. open that folder up(it will be called minecraft), and scroll down to near the bottom of the folder, and find terrain.png. open that up with gimp, photoshop, or paintbrush (if you use paintbrush you won't be able to edit transparent objects, such as glass) and then edit to your hearts desire :smile.gif:. then, put the picture back into the minecraft folder (if you took it out, if not, ignore this step). select EVERYTHING in the folder, right click on one of the selected items, and select "Compress". scroll down inside the folder until you find Archive.zip, right click it, select Get Info, and then rename it to "minecraft.jar". then put minecraft.jar into the bin folder, and open up minecraft and enjoy your newly created textures!
