What happens if the creator of one of the textures wants to tweak it slightly, would we just re-submit it or something?

I really like this idea! Are we allowed to submit textures from unreleased, WIP packs? Because I've got some half-blocks that I personally enjoy very much, and I think others might too. Though they're perhaps a bit too ornate...

Either way, if it's a no-go, that's fine, I'll try to make something new. This has the potential to become something great.

there is no theme, probably just a general re-skin. I don't know about those ores. they have to blend with the smooth stone. like the front page said.
