Xau's Water/Lava Patcher, or something along those lines. You should really read the whole first post of texture packs before you download them. Usually they'll say "NOTE: For custom water/lava, you need to download Xau's" blah blah. You usually only need it for 64x+ texture packs, though. I use 32x and lower, so I don't need it, and I don't know much about it.

Thanks! One more question, though. I noticed in some texture packs, the trees have different color leaves. How do I make that work?
Usually trees have different colors when you go to different biomes (as well as grass). It's normal. And don't worry, I'm a noob too, I didn't think this info would be that helpful.
