If you don't mind a suggestion for the slimes textures, I have an idea. I know that slimes have two skin layers. The inner layer idea could look like sludge with skeleton bits sticking out of the sludge. The outer layer could be a lighter color of the inner sludge. I love this pack, one the best I've seen for a 16x, keep up the great work! Don't worry about taking long on mob textures, just keep in mind on the zombie skin layouts for halloween.
What program do you use to edit the textures? Do you use photoshop or somthing else?
I use Photoshop to edit the textures, and I use 3dsMax to preview the textures in 3d. To that end, I've recreated the 3d models for most Minecraft characters using 3dsMax. The mob pictures you see in the thread are renders from 3dsMax.

I'm personally not fond of slimes that have "stuff" stuck inside them, so I'll have to try something else.
As for the zombies, I already made them to use the new skin layouts, so I won't have to fix anything.
However, there's also the wolves, the cats, the snow golem and all of the nether mobs. Sadly, there's no way I can get all of those done before Halloween. As I mentioned before, it takes me at least a full weekend to make one mob skin, and I can only work on weekends.
Ah, keep the wolves, cats and snowmen for Christmas, Wayuki - they will make a nice Xmas treat when the time comes by! and good luck with the slimes and the anvils - if you don't get them ready by November, don't despair. I'm sure everyone loves a good Christmas pressie. Au revoir and de mazzl.
Not sure if you're aware, but Optifine and MCPatcher both allow you to have a bit more customization with mooshrooms and snow golems via providing you with a second skin to replace the mushrooms on the mooshroom, and the head of the snow golem.
Yup, I know MCpatcher has this feature! I didn't know that Optifine did, too. I'm definitely planning to use it or the snow golem when I get to it.
I did already use it on the mooshrooms to make the mushrooms on their back less ginormous. My mushrooms are pretty large overall, but on the mooshroom they're displayed at 150% of the world size. They really looked ridiculous, but I didn't want to make my actual mushrooms smaller.
I was happily surprised when I realized I could use a 32x32 overlay for the mooshrooms. So, I pasted my 16x mushrooms into a 32x space. That way, they're still as detailed as before, but displayed at half the size!
So yeah, next update will have less ridiculous mooshrooms!

I eat creepers for breakfast, lunch, dinner and I have it bacon style!
Not the iron golems, but the snow golems! For some reason, the snowmen in the game are referred to as "snow golems".
The iron golems are already done, like you mentioned. They're part of the current download! I finished them for 1.3.

Curse PremiumProbably has more to do with both having Random Mobs(which is what is offering this specific feature)
There we go.
Thanks Voxitude!
Where did you get the pics of the zombie, creeper and skeleton? They haven't been released in the pack yet.
Correct!
Oh I see, I was confused, but this pack has to be one of the greatest packs yet.

I'm working towards an October 24 release, along with the Minecraft 1.4 update!
