Wayuki - Negative, it's been a long time since I've done that. I did used to run the Qbee however at Qbee.net.
Aw, too bad. Qbee does sound very familiar. Wasn't it a big drag and drop dollmaker site?
I do still have mine up. I even still make a doll every once in a blue moon, although I'm more inclined to refer to them as "pixel art" instead, since they are all handdrawn. You can find them here if you're interested: http://www.wayuki.nl/
Cool stuff! I guess it didn't really help that my hoes are actually already sickles.
Haha, not really, but I just tried to make them a bit rounder and smaller, like handheld sickles. The blender in the set is a bit harder, because it's a cross-section like the tree saplings. I wanted to make a mortar and pestle, but it's proving tricky.
One thing though, could you make a better visual differentiation between fence sections and gateways? I got blown apart by four creepers yesterday because I couldnt see the gate in the fence I was stuck on : )
Unfortunately, the fence and the fence gate cannot be textured uniquely, they just pull the texture straight from the wooden plank block.
Having played the vanilla minecraft for awhile, i've decided to try a few mods, so I have a question - sorry if I sound like a complete noob, - but I am ! I really dont know too much about mods or how they work. So, before I try installing anything i'd like to know how they will work with your texture pack? Is there a list of mods your pack supports? What will happen if I use a mod that isnt suppported? Will it just show blank/white textures/skins? I'm really unsure of what will happen, do you have any advice?
You will simply see the textures that come with the mod, which may or may not fit the style of my pack. They will certainly not be blank, though!
Oh, forgot to add - the new creeper - looks very good, but have you considered the effect it will have on gameplay? I think it will increase the difficulty level of the game by quite a lot, and lead to more player deaths. The reason I believe this is that creeper attacks can be deadly, especially if you are unlucky enough to encounter two or three. The bright green vanilla creeper texture can be seen at a good distance and it screams "WARNING!" even a glimpse of that colour is enough to start me running : )
If you change to what is basicaly a forest camouflage colour, players will have little warning until they hear the dreaded "hiss" boom!
If you do change the creeper, could you do two release packs? One with the new and one with the old creeper?
I have to say, the old creeper was camouflaged pretty well, too! The noisy green can be hard to see against grass or foliage.
In any case, if you don't like the creeper skin, you can simply open up the zip file and delete the creeper.png from the mob folder. You could even drop in the creeper.png from another person's pack.
Beautiful dolls Wayuki =) The qbee was a quilt making site for pixels, each site had their own patch to sew on your quilt to basically be a link party with contests and what not. I was much better at animations than I was at dolling.
Indeed a very cute zombie there. Not much to comment about it,other than the legs might need a brighter tone.
I love how you made the cheeks , big fan of those .Now that is talent.
I think the darker tone in the legs is just lividity, or the blood pooling because it's not circulating anymore.
I actually tend to make all of my skins a bit darker towards the bottom, to add a bit of ambient occlusion, or make them look a bit more "settled" into the world, if you will.
Awesome as always, really love the face. However I'm a bit puzzled at what's going on with the legs. He's obviously wearing brown shorts, but why are his legs blue while the rest of his skin is green? It gives me a sort of "wearing brown shorts over blue pants" vibe.

I'm afraid I have to second this. I understand the concept of wanting to have him get darker as he gets closer to the ground, but it's just TOO blue.
Develsaa: Do you still have your dolls online somewhere?
DiamondsRmyBFF: Sure, go ahead!
MonkeyAstronaut: Thanks!
KPKat: I sent you something!
steelfeathers: Thanks! Much appreciated!
Thanks so much!

That is a beautiful GUI KPKat.

Eventually, yes, but my main focus right now is getting all the mob skins done.

Absolutely inspirational. TY!
In other news, I finished the zombie!
OMG!! Best zombie in any pack ive ever seen!!
@ namaco: I live in Asia, does that count?
@ Deepblue686: Thanks for the info, I'll look into it!

That is definitely, THE BEST ZOMBIE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MINECRAFT!
That seriously that is so good it isn't funny, it actually looks like a zombie!
Keep up the amazing work Wayuki!
