Actually, 16x -> 32x is quadrupling the resolution...
Oh, did I ever post in the thread before? I don't think so. I love this pack, but I can't stand watching <64x textures on my 1080p monitor. However, whenever I do do stuff in 16x, this is the texture pack I fall back on!
You're right that 16x -> 32x quadruples the amount of pixels. However, it's still referred to as double res.
Much in the same way, if you zoom in to 200% in your graphics program, the image is displayed at twice the width and twice the height, not twice the surface space.
Not to mention, the mobs in the default pack aren't actually 16x16 pixels. The texture size is 64x32 pixels for most of them. That's why I don't refer to 16x or 32x mobs, because that's actually totally inaccurate.
Anyway, enough nerdy stuff, I'm glad you like the pack!
Thanks! I did see the one from DMpack, but only after I finished mine. At that point, I was like: damn it, someone beat me to it! At least mine is very different in execution, if not idea.
This is a very well-made pack. I have a hard time believing that the textures are only 16x because they all look so good. I'd almost swear they were 32x.
Since it's such a weird creature, not really looking like a valid animal or anything, I wanted to turn it into an elemental being of sorts. When thinking about what kind of elemental it should be, a forest spirit came to mind pretty quickly. It all just developed from there.
I made my creepers into snakes.. Figured hey.. they hiss.. right?
I love your texture pack, I love your new creeper, I love your dragons - I think you've done a tremendous job with your pack, and I love how many things you've done with it.
And like you, I think I spend more time working on my pack then I do playing the game.
This is litterally the best 16x16 pack I've ever used. There are no inconsistancies, it has very nice color shemes, and the feel is just stupendous. I might recomend saturating the colors closer to the front more which makes things look less flat then it'll be perfection. I can tell that some very good pixel art work went into this, and I just can't begin to say how much I appreciate the understanding that is here. All except glowstone. You should do something with that. It doesn't tile well.
"I am so enthusiastic because most texture packs are bad or don't compliment the game very well in my opinion."

I disagree about the glowstone, IMHO it tiles well. I suppose you just don't like the shard-like design, which admittedly is not for everyone. I personally prefer shard-like glowstone over lanterns though. I think the Nether looks very weird with clusters of lanterns stuck to the landscape everywhere.
Anyways, here's another picture! I've been working on some of the snapshot stuff.
So amazing! seriously by far the best creeper I've ever seen! Also I'm ashamed to say ive never commented here so hey
Oh yeah the iron golem is the best I've seen as well!
I can tell - I really adore what you've done with your pack, and your mobs are amazing. I can definitely see your background in how you shade things and detail things with such a small work space.
This is such a great texture pack. It complements the game so well and creates a better experience while playing. I don't want to play without it! Wayuki is very talented
I'm so excited for the new plants! I really want to see how you've colored the different crops because I'm working on some mod support for FarmCraftory, which adds a really cool farming/cooking system to the game. I've so far gotten the GUI done and some of the new tools, but there's a lot more to do.
It's the only server I've ever been on!
Truth be told though, I don't play online much. Most of my free time goes into my pack, LOL!

I still have to do the new additions to the items.png to make it compatible with the snapshots.

Curse PremiumInteresting take on the creepers. Any thought process behind it?

On a side note, do you happen to be a pixel doll artist? I was wondering about that because of your avatar.
I used to be

I see! Same here. XD

Indeed I did. This is actually already part of the current download!
Thanks!
