wayuki i have a question, is it meant that the new sandstone blocks have an outline so the blocks don't connect properly like the stone bricks?
Yes, it's meant to be like that. The original sandstone blocks have an outline, so I suspect they will be used as a single deco block inserted into a plain sandstone wall. I also think they still look good tiled, so they can still be used as a wall, as well.
These blocks will most likely be used in the future for generated structures in the desert. I'm just trying to design the blocks so they can be used together in a variety of ways, because we don't know yet what these structures might look like. Makes sense?
I love how specific set of blocks stick to a specific color scheme.
Obviously with the regular wood and log and so on, but in the instance of like the brand new birch planks
and the end stone and stone slab/lapis block.
It really adds such an emphasis on the building aspect that minecraft has to offer, and
you deserve much more credit then you get for this pack as a whole.

Thanks! Whenever a new set of blocks comes out, I always make little test buildings in the game, trying to find interesting ways in which the new blocks can be used together, and what old blocks they would be fun to combine with. And then I design my textures accordingly.
I also try to reuse single colors or whole color schemes where I can, so that the blocks really fit together. Ideally, every block should coordinate with every other block, so that you can mix them up in any way you like.

You said it yourself better then I could...
For that reason, of reusing schemes to make a more entertaining playing experience, your pack
is appreciated wholesome by many. I just find it to be a bit of a shame that for whatever reason,
the pack keeps getting pushed back:
You need a Public Relations team to promote it
EDIT: Just to clarify, I'm not saying the pack appears to be unpopular, 200k downloads obviously negates the statement, but I can't comprehend why the pack hasn't exploded completely like that of Doku's or Sphax.
By seeing this masterful piece of art on the third/fifth whatever page behind that of effortless examples,
it makes me want to show my full appreciation for your work, even if you acknowledge it anyhow.
I have an interesting question about the Villages and the Cows. I notice there are several (2+) skins for them. Are we able to view them all in game at this time? I havn't run acrosss a villager location since 1.2.4 hit yet.
I know there is a mod out there where the mobs can have random skins. Are these skins only viewable with that mod at this time?
By the way I love this Texture Pack I've been following it since 1.7 and am still trying to convince all my friends it's the best one out there
@ Mareinia: The second cow skin you can find in the mushroom biome. As for the additional villagers, you will need to install MCPatcher to see them. If you install MCPatcher, you will also have custom water, lava and sky colors.
@ iliketoshootstuff: Yes, ofcourse! I'm looking forward to seeing your vid.

Happy Anniversary!

Yup! That was the whole idea.
One thing, umm...I suppose villagers multiply now with each other. And all the old crooked looking man... :/
....
After all, Awesome pack!
Here's some of the stuff you can do with the new plank blocks:
And, in case you missed the sandstone screenshot on the previous page:
Right now, I'm working on the iron golem. I drew out the design for it, but I still have to do most of the shading.
After the golem, I'll start on some enemies.
