OMG ! Helps a lot ... but , i don't understand how you make the "Higher contrast shading" ... im searching some tutorials for pixel art , but nothing touch this part of how to add "ligh sources" ....
How you make this ??? you edited step by step using the pencil , using the brush ?? or is some layer or effect ???
I know you use Photoshop (me too , i have CS5) but me in the most cases i use Paint for editing, make new ones , etc... and Photoshop for color changer , make alpha's and png's and some small things ... im very noobish at this moment , but of course I'm always willing to learn and if you have some time and wish ,we can share some tips and feedback like you done in the image you show me
I edited it step by step with the pencil. You already had some shading in there. I just made the light parts much lighter, by picking brighter colors and painting with them. And then I made the dark parts much darker, again by picking darker colors and painting with them.
The hardest part is deciding where the dark spots should go and where the light spots should go. You already had that part correct! But it was too subtle.
Wayuki maybe you should make some female villagers
I thought of that... but somehow I don't think a female version of these ugly bird people would look so cute.
Considering the way they reproduce, they seem to be genderless, anyway!
Also, 11 villager skins is well enough for now. I'm gonna be starting on the golem now!

This texture pack looks amazing, but when I download it I get a folder with all the textures and everything in it, and then I have no idea what to do next! It would be great if you could say how to actually get it running in Minecraft.

Don't extract the files, as soon as you download go to your Minecraft folder by typing
%appdata% in the run program. Once your their click on ".minecraft", "texturepacks" and then drag the downloaded file in there. Start up minecraft and select the texturepack and done (:

Start your game. Go to texture packs. Click on the "Open texture pack folder" button. Paste the zip file in the folder, no extracting!
After that you should see it pop up in the texture pack menu, and you can select it.
Hey Wayuki, ever thought of doing a seperate pack that's more "post-apocalyptic"(kinda like Fallout 3/New Vegas) feeling? I honestly haven't found any good 16x ones like that but after using your pack for....God knows how long, I feel if you tried, you could really knock out a good post-apocalyptic pack.
That's just my opinion though...And I'd be willing to pretty much hire you(for lack of a better term) to make it if I actually had a job.

Many thanks. The last map I tried making with the Last Days texture pack sorta failed. So I hope I can impress you with this one.
P.S . One last thing. You live in Kuala Lumpur? Im your neighbor. I live in Singapore
Indeed I do! I'm originally from the Netherlands, though. I've been living and working in Malaysia for a year and a half now.

And here were the previous ones, in case you missed the post:
I'm only working on support for MCPatcher's extra options. The other mod support is being worked on by kaer_enrohk, based on which mods he plays.
That is all.

Please feel free to check it out.
Thanks.
As for the paintings, I will get to them eventually, but for now I'm still working on finishing all the mobs!

I already spend all of my free time on this pack, usually about 16 hours a week. I've been doing that for over a year and it's not even done yet!
