This is absolutely beautiful, and the mobs are looking fantastic!! I cannot wait to see what else you come up with. Your pack gives so much life to the game.
Thanks for the positive comments, everyone! :biggrin.gif:
Next thing I will be working on will be the sheep, and then the pig.
After that, probably the villagers... I'm excited about Mojang hiring a new guy to work on the AI and the villagers! So it's probably a good time to turn those into something a little more interesting.
Your mobs put me to shame. And your dragon made me totally abandon my own- I just gave up in a rage.
Although I do have one little nit-pick: the cow's nose looks a bit pinched and narrow. Cows have very large noses, artistically speaking, so it shouldn't taper so much.
Oh wait! I have a question: What program do you use to 'pose' your mobs? And where can I get it?
I use 3dsMax for this. Minecraft does not allow you to "export" the mobs in any way from what I can tell, so you have to set the sizes of the boxes and arrange them yourself, as well. I take lots of screenshots in the game for this purpose, both with the normal skins and with template skins with scribbles on them. That way I can remake the model as accurately as possible, by counting pixels and eyeballing arrangement.
I will put up the models for download when I have them all done and tested. :smile.gif:
3dsMax is expensive, though! I would recommend trying Blender, as that program is free, powerful and has good documentation available.
Anyways, I updated the pack now. :biggrin.gif:
Unfortunately, I couldn't make the spawn eggs as pretty as I wanted. The automatic recoloring done to them looks pretty nasty, IMHO. :huh.gif:

Curse PremiumLOL when i saw the title i thought the same exact thing.
El Pollo Diablo? :laugh.gif:
So I've made a diabolic cow so far, and an evil chicken. Hmmmm... Maybe I've got some hidden evil tendencies. :tongue.gif:
Yes, I'm using double res textures for the mobs, armor, vehicles, the weather textures and the map background.

The sheep should be very nice. Oh, and the eggs!
