One sexy dragon, and I might have to use it as a base because it's much easier to relate to the model than the texture Notch used. I gotta say, it gives me a very good vibe of Spyro for some reason, probably the color scheme :smile.gif:
It's the 3d mock-up model I made of the dragon. I saved it as an OBJ, so you should be able to import it into any 3d program. Unfortunately it doesn't keep the pivots, so if you want to pose it, you'll have to do those yourself.

I haven't checked it out but probably not. Mobs can use higher resolutions without any immediate problems, so I'm pretty sure Wayuki is doing that with skins.
@Scimatth7: I'm making the mobs at double the resolution, just like I did with the armor sets. So it's actually 32x.
@killkill85: The End is a very dark environment, so the dragon will appear quite a bit darker and more desaturated in the game. It will look like a faded sort of purple, which I think is appropriate to the End. Only when it passes closely over the crystal spires you will catch a glimpse of the jewel-like colors. :smile.gif:
