As I was about to start on a mob texture, I noticed a new bug with the way the texture shows up on the model. As some of you already noticed, the cow's behind appears upside down in the game. That's not the only problem though, because on all of the segments that make up all mob models, the bottom face is upside down. You can see it on the animal's feet for instance, their hooves are on backwards! :blink.gif:
I made a bug report on Getsatisfaction, please help me getting it noticed! Here's the link:

Sorry, there's nothing to see yet. :laugh.gif:
Like I said, I was only about to get started. The only thing I made is a template texture where every polygon has a different color and letters or scribbles on them to see how it's oriented. I don't think anyone would get excited about a technicolor puke skin like that! :tongue.gif:

I was wondering about that. I haven't worked on mobs much yet but I did noticed that the mobs I made for Twisted Mind didn't come out quite how I expected. (which is weird because 3d modeling is what I have more experience in.) Luckily it looked rather neat so I left it as is.

Glad the pack came out! Gratz on the popular star--maybe you can change over 150k downloads into over 3 mil downloads :tongue.gif: anyway, great work on the melons--they look epic!
Holy mother of God, this pack is amazing. I scrolled through all the screenshots saying, "Wow, this is 16x?" over, and over again.
WAIT THIS IS 16X?????!?!?!?!!?!1one!!?!?!
lol jk
man, i love this pack, i, its, wow, just so buitiful
once this pack is all done, you should totally make another in a different style, not that this style isn't great, but i can't wait to see what else you come up with
@Eric: Indeed I do! I'm originally from the Netherlands, though. :smile.gif:
@Kirash: You can't really, you would lose a lot of detail. You could try scaling it down to 50% with the "nearest neighbor" setting on, and then fixing up the pixels by hand. I can't guarantee you would get a good result, though! :laugh.gif:
Thank you so much for continuing this lovely pack! This is the pack of my dreams! Thank you so much for continuing it! Do you plan to update it until the "Full" version of Minecraft is out?
I don't think this pack look 32x, I mean, every pixel stand out so much if you look closely, they're not smeared out.
That's the key. You have to be close.
The better textures like yours and Wayuki look higher resolution than they are at a distance. Any texture will look pixely if you shove your nose in it. :smile.gif:

Can I get a little preview of the mob texture? :3

I don't expect the downloads to go up that quickly, but if so, I'm going to need different webhosting for sure! Haha. :laugh.gif:

Curse PremiumPretty sure it was mobs (farm animals first?) and then paintings. Should be awesome whatever it is though! c:

may notch bless your soul for all eternity
No pics yet, though! I'm building a 3d-mockup of the whole thing first, so I can preview the skin in 3d while I'm working.
@zijtsam: Since you cannot craft the chain mail armor in the game, I'm saving that one for last.
I think I just found a new favorite texture pack. You my friend are simply made of diamond. 8l
