i couldn't wait any longer and i know its blasphemous but i stole the stock 1.8.1 art and skillfully photoshoped it into your texture pack cuz i just can't stand not to use it :biggrin.gif:. it looks goooodddddd minus the drab stuff from stock art

Can't wait for the 1.8 update (I say just focus on that get it done, than tackle the 1.9 stuff, coz some of us will be playing 1.8 until mods and such get updated to 1.9 lol)

After 15 years he was 17 and found the bandits thats killed his parents and successfully assinated them.

Yes, but Wayuki only got working on 1.8 a week or two after the release, and since mojang was expecting to release 1.9 soon after, she decided to wait until 1.9 to release the next update

Yes I know, but that doesn't mean a 1.8 pack shouldn't be released... Plus 1.9 is looking to have a Pre-Release 4, there is going to be many things to be updating over the next week or 2, only a few items came into 1.8, so really that should get done and out of the way first (since the 1.8 stuff is in 1.9 it will need doing anyway, so why not do the 1.8 stuff, release it, than worry about current/upcoming items???)

We are being patient, But making a texture pack, you should really be making sure you are keeping the whole community happy, E.G. Release each version of the texture pack (some people stay on old releases for quite a while, some need to wait for mods before updating, some play maps (puzzle/adventure etc) that are not compatible or updated to the newest version)
So in my opinion - If you decide to create a texture pack, deliver to the community what is wanted/needed/expected by making a pack for each version of MC that comes out.
And like I said, 1.9 is getting another pre-release (who knows there could be another 2 or 3) and I understand they are going to stop implementing new features on the 18th (9 days) so thats still a week away. BUT they DID not say thats when a 1.9 will be released, as they said they will stop adding new features, and just work on bug fixes ect. for a smooth full release. So your still looking at a week minimum before a stop in new features, thus the next stable release.
Also like I said before, focus on 1.8 items/textures, THAN 1.9 since its still pre-release.
P.S. Im not trying to sound like an ass hole, or a troll or anything. I'm just trying to get my thoughts and opinions across.

Also, I'm a professional texture artist, normally I get paid to do stuff like this. I'm lucky my employer even allows me to put out free textures.

Anyway, I've been eagerly awaiting this pack. Liking all of the preview images! I used to use it off and on, switching between it and Quandary, and I was quite sad when I found out it hadn't been updated yet. Hope to see some more (undoubtedly) quality work from you!

Invisible rules? wtf, there are no such thing as "invisble rules". if and how she wants to do the pack is her own decision. She could stop if she really wanted to! And the stage the pack is gonna be put out is at its FINISHED, WELL-DONE, NON-RUSHED, 1.9 stage as it should be done. If your such an impatient asshole then make your own blocks like what ppl have been doing with Doku, or just simply layer the 1.7 wayukianpack terrain over the most recent terrain. Have you ever heard of the saying: If u dont have anything nice to say don't say anything at all? Honestly... :dry.gif:
