I really like how it looks but could you fix the water and lava, you don't have to make custom water and lava, but it would be great if you could just put the old textures there, I've patched my game already and I would really rather not unpatch it for a texture pack I may not keep.
If I do that, the water and lava still won't work properly. It would be static, no animation at all.
I'm just going to have to make custom liquids a high priority, then. XD
I figured most people would be fine with the default water, but I guess everyone was spoiled rotten by the likes of Doku, LOL.
If you just put the default water I would think it would work and animate like the default water, though I wouldn't complain with custom water. :smile.gif: It really does look great by the way.
Interesting. Being a so low on money, I'll probably check out the free trial while I'm working on my mobs.
Thanks for tip.
You could also use Blender. It's a very similar program, but it's free. It also has a lot of documentation available.
I specifically use 3dstudio max because I need it for work as well, but Blender should work just fine for Minecraft.

Just make 2 DLs, one with Custom water, and one without. I love the pack, i use it non-stop.

Ah yes, I've heard of Blender. Tried it once, but gave up after a time. Maybe I should start to work seriously with it.
Because we all know creating Minecraft Texture Packs is a serious and highly regarded field.

Finally got around doing the menu buttons. The sliders came out right completely by accident, I didn't realize they were done by taking a 4 pixel slice off of each side of the button!
I also blocked out the diamond armor, which I'll be finishing during the weekend. :smile.gif:
So far, the color choices seems nicely done, specially for the weapons and other items. The armors are detailed and well made, and for what I can tell, the menu buttons seem very well done too, I am loving this pack right now. I would love to see some alternate block texture.
I have to say out of all the other texture pack I've seen and used, I really love this one! Its amazing and fantastic. Great work. Can't wait for the update to both Minecraft and Wayukian Pack
P.S. Do have to save the banner and upload it ourself to put it on our sig?
You might want to add some custom water. Just to let you know, if you don't patch the game with a texture patch then Minecraft won't apply custom water(if the client is unpatched, and default resolution like yours, then the code will always overwrite the water block with the default animated water). HOWEVER, I have my client patched to allow switching of different resolutions, so with your pack all I get is:
Hey Dusty! I recently discovered this myself as well, so water and lava are the next thing on my list. Before you had to patch for each texture pack seperately, so I didn't realize it would become a problem.
Funnily enough, I was reading the mini-tutorial on how you did your water just yesterday! :laugh.gif:
I like the way you did the wave animation, so I'll probably try something similar.
In other news, I finished the diamond armor! For all your evil overlording purposes. :laugh.gif:
I will be releasing the armor sets along with the 1.6 update.
Anyways, on to pics!
And in case you missed the other sets I posted on previous pages, here's an image with all the sets together.
I think the sidegrass could have some kind of shadow over the dirt, which it does not appear to have. It would not take long to fix.
I did try that, but I thought it looked a little strange when a grass block is next to a normal dirt block. It breaks the tiling pretty badly, IMHO.
Anyway, I plan on having custom water and lava tiles in the next update. They won't be animated yet, but it should look better than the solid beige blocks. Here's what I have on the water so far:

If you just added some placeholder water to terrain.png, your pack won't be broken for patched clients and unpatched clients will be uneffected.
