Considering how much work and time she puts into the textures, I think Wayuki should stay away from snapshots and focus on what is already released.
The mobs for example.
That way she's not in a never-ending game of "catch up"
So she's only working on the newest stuff in the current version.
I don't know about her, but it tends to be whatever the artist feels like working on at any given time. Typically when you get towards the "finish line" all the stuff that's not done is because you kind of didn't want to do it...
Also, she has a bit of a choice. She can either try to "complete" the pack, but she'll fall behind in the newer releases. Those snapshots give artists a chance to get stuff done before the average player comes knocking for an update. However if she opts to keep up to date with snapshots, that means she'll be ahead of the curve, but also that old stuff keeps on getting pushed back. I'd go for the latter, as typically players already know what isn't done in packs, and they care way more about a pack being "up-to-date" with new content.

I don't think anyone cares what things wayuki works on, since it's all beautiful, always
Goodness, those horses are beautiful! I especially love the pinto! Everything else is beautiful too, of course, but I am enamored with those horses!
Absolutely using this pack. =)

It's never a good idea to fall behind on snapshot stuff. Because then the official release is made, and everyone expects my pack to be up to date with it instantly.
However, updates these days are HUGE. For instance, it took me a full three months of spending all of my free time to do the horse update.
So if I wait till the final release and still have three months of work ahead of me just to make my pack usable again, imagine how annoyed people would be! They would start flocking to packs that were on top of their stuff instead.
As for a never-ending game of catch-up, that's what happens regardless. Either I fall behind on old content, or I fall behind on new content. I always fall behind on something, there's no other way around it.
So that's why with every Minecraft update, I work to include all new content, plus as many items from the old content as I can fit into my schedule. That way, I'm catching up, albeit very slowly.
Ofcourse though, whenever I release a bunch of new mob skins, people mostly like to fixate on the ones I didn't get to yet.
I have been using this pack for a few months now, and would like your permission to use it on my small server. It's a small-ish server only 20 people at a time, but I built the whole thing with this pack and it makes it look like magic.I will add a link on my website to this forum, and credit you on the server. In fact, I'll whitelist you if you want so you can see what I've done so far. Please Message me with your decision!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds recent updates have become huge. Also that it's a battle to keep up with the sad loss of any free time we had before Minecraft came along. More often than not now I'm just about finishing up texturing for one Minecraft update when along comes another - that's aside from the business end of OP edits, posts, comments, readme and changlog files, etc.
Wouldn't be so bad if we were rewarded with just the tiniest fraction of what a Mojang employee earns, but that ain't ever going to happen (Lol!). Strangely in most cases the reason why most texture artists subject themselves to so much work isn't about monetary gain!
Wayuki, everything in the new update shows as much flare, artistry and ingeniousness as ever. I especially always check in to see how you've imagined the latest mobs...somehow your mobs always look more 3-dimensional and 'real' than seems possible given the little boxes we have to play with.
My hearty congratulations on another superb update!
I must say, for me, this is the best resource pack ever!
I mean, even this being in standard resolution (x16) this looks wonderful, seriously, I can't play minecraft without your textures
Keep up the amazing work!
Just in case you felt like playing Quake 3. Which by now is... uhm, 14 years old!
And that's also for how long I've been making skins.
So anyway, the good news is that it's done (which means I can start on the Minecraft update).
The other good news is that I created a tutorial about it! Check it out!

Keep up the amazing work!
Instead, I created a skin for a completely different game (Quake 3). It looks like this:

And you can even download it: https://dl.dropboxus...n-blackrose.zip

Perhaps not as useful if you're creating default resolution Minecraft skins, but if you're making HD skins, similar methods do apply.

Curse PremiumFantastic! ...Well, that explains why your MC mob skins are so amazing!
