Unfortunately, I won't get to mod support for a while, because I still need to finish some of the default content (mainly Nether mobs and the paintings). I do think Biomes O' Plenty adds a very cool look to the game, so I might get to it eventually.
Luckily the biomes textures still work with the pack enabled. So it doesn't bother me at all.
I do like the flowers a lot, though! I'm curious to see what else they will add. I feel this is going to be a fun update, even if this means my survival world is going to be outdated... again.

Yea, I actually just started a new survival world a few weeks back that I'm actually PLAYING on again, not just testing, and it's gonna have to be dumped to make way for the new terrain system!
Oh well, I agree with you, I think this is gonna be a really sweet update. Foliage is a lot of fun to texture too.
Any chance that you support my little mod? Just for reference: reilem91, XSSheep, Meringue, Wreckage and eleazzaar already support my mod; Rillian and SycloneSJS are working on it.
Oooh, yes please wayuki!
There aren't too many textures to do and it is a fantastic mod!

wayuki, i have 2 things to say. 1. great work on the horse armour! 2. FOR GOD'S SAKE WAYUKI CAN YOU PLEASE STOP FORGETTING TO UPDATE THE TO-DO LIST THIS IS LIKE THE 3RD TIME I'VE REMINDED YOU!!!!
In regards to the texture support of Poersch's "Better Grass and Leaves" mod... I think that if you chose to do any official non-MCPatcher mod support at all, this would be a good one to cover. It is purely aesthetic and adds a lot of detail and liveliness to the game. Your pack is very detailed and colourful and therefore this mod would compliment it very well. Of course I think it's better for you to focus on vanilla content - as you always have - and only work through mod support if you feel you have more than enough time to spare for it.
That aside: awesome progress! Do you plan to release the Nether content along with the 1.7 update (probably months away), or as soon as you finish it (assuming this happens well beforehand)? Can't wait for more spoilers.
Historically, Mojang has always released a huge update just before Halloween. So, I'm expecting that the 1.7 update will come out around that time. I'm hoping that I can finish all the Nether mobs before then, but it really depends on how much 1.7 content there will be.
The remaining Nether mobs will take me at least 4 full weekends. I will not start on mod support until all mob skins are done.

In other news, I finished the Wither skeleton.
I think that makes sense to expect, and Nether mobs in time for Halloween would be somewhat fitting.
I forgot to ask about a custom portal and fire - do you have any plans for these alongside your Nether mobs? Also, the Wither Skeleton is fantastic - it matches the Wither boss well.
By the way, I don't think my SimpleOres texture support is up-to-date any more. In fact I'm not sure if any of the mod support really is, considering the new texture format. I thought I should let you know in case you wish to make a note or remove it altogether.

Nice! I really love ur mob skins, most other packs' skins don't match ur level of skin awesomeness. XD
Now if only animated skins were supported....

But yeah, I know... I want bunnies too!

Curse PremiumQuick, someone with twitter, you know what you have to do!
Bunnies would be sweet though. Gonna just have to settle for new flowers and stuff for now though apparently.

Well, it makes sense that way! Pine wood is actually a very light wood type, whereas tropical hardwood is darker.
I'll check it out!
The truth is that I forget about it on purpose, just so that it irks people.
