The textures look very nice. I've got a minor complaint though - signs seem slightly squished. The top line of text on the sign ends up in the border.
Also, something you may wish to mention - Don't apply with the HD patcher - liquids will show up gray.

There's nothing I can do to fix it though, except by taking out the border entirely. The sign itself is not squished, because you can't change the shape of the sign by changing the texture. The texture only changes the color and shading of the sign. The actual shape and dimensions of the sign are defined by the 3d model, which in turn is hardcoded into the game. Only a modder could change it.
It's just that by having a border, the actual space that can contain text becomes smaller. The first line of text is always going to cover the border.
I personally avoid it by only putting two lines of text on any sign. Looks nicer anyway.
I really do enjoy your pack. I'm always on the lookout for more natural-looking textures, and I'm glad you had inspiration from Eldpack and Jolicraft as those two in my opinion are few of the best ones along the lines, though still not quite what I'm looking for. Can't wait to see you finish the rest. ^^
EDIT: Just tried it in game and its as awesome as it looks. Just some minor critisicm: the Netherrack looks a little similar to dirt. Its hard to tell the two apart through tint alone.
The Netherrack are the blocks in the water in comparison to the dirt on the structure on top.
I haven't tried this pack with 1.4 yet (using the defaults for a couple of days to let everything get updates), but as far as I know the only thing that's changed that the pack had already retextured is the particles file, which now has particles for hearts when you tame the wolves, and perhaps some other additions I'm not recalling.

O_O OMFG I love you! I've been looking for a texture pack like this and you have just like ma.. OMG this is awesome! virtual kisses! =P plz update the icons and other stuff needed cuz I will only download it when it's done.. ILY lol plz finish it! :smile.gif:
@MrFoxer: I'm sorry you don't like the ore blocks. I'm not going to change them though, they're one of my favorite bits. I realize they might not look as good tiled on large surfaces, but you probably won't get that many of them when you play legitimately. So instead, I made them into deco blocks that look good when used sparingly.
For some ideas, try using the diamond blocks in a trim with glass, and the lapis blocks in a trim with double half step blocks. Another cool thing is to make pillars out of obsidian or glowstone, with a gold block at the very top and bottom. Also, you could use a single iron block in a cobblestone wall, and put a torch on it. And the iron and gold blocks have matching designs, so you can use them together in a trim.
@Karan Vess: Unfortunately, that wouldn't work well. Their behaviour and sounds are distinctly dog-like, so texturing them to look like cats would be really odd. I hope they add cats someday, I'm a cat person too! ^_^'
@DrKillbotPhD: Since the hearts are a fairly non-crucial part of the game, I will hold off on releasing them until I'm ready to release the icons as well. I should have those done in a few more days.
I'm wondering what the new droplet particles are gonna be used for, though. They are not used for when the dogs shake their fur, that just uses the normal water splashes. Maybe they will add water droplets for cave ambience? That would be interesting.
@DarkEcho: I'm working on it every day, but quality takes time! XD
@BPFGunshy: I took screenshots in four different levels, actually! One of them only has a small cottage, one of them has no buildings, just interesting landscape. And then there's one that's pretty old, with mostly crappy buildings. I think the most interesting world is my castle map though, so here's a download for that:

I am eagerly awaiting the icons' release! :biggrin.gif:
Cave ambience would be an awesome use of the particle effect. Perhaps if not that it might be a rain effect? I think I remember the devs saying weather would be added at some point... this could be a first step.

Thank you very much! The castle one was the one I was interested in! I love the way your texture pack looks! If you ever get the urge to make a 128 let me know because I would LOVE to use it!
As far as I know, the only thing that won't work will be the heart particles when you tame a wolf, but Wayuki says a few replies above that they will be added along with the icons in a few days.
The particles for taming a wolf being missing shouldn't really break anything as you can still tell if the wolf is tamed without them. Keep using bones on them, and when they sit, they're tamed. :smile.gif:

I do the same thing, even on the default, borderless signs. It just always made sense to me to put it that way.

Nope, I love the ore blocks. The golden bull is amazing, as is the black iron.
barking cats?
