I'm preparing the release for tomorrow. I have managed to finish the donkey and mule in time! The horse armor and undead horses will have to wait until the next release, though.
-snip-
They look great, just like the horses.
Looking forward to the update tomorrow, it should be a good one!

Those blocks haven't changed since then, but I'll try to get some pictures up with the blocks used in the context of a build. Not today though... I expect to be home at 10:00 PM tonight, and then I still have to get the new pack up!
I've been a long time user of this texture pack. It's probably one of the few 16x16 packs that doesn't look totally awkward; everything feels natural. The horses look amazing, too.
Keep up the killer work!

When I started this pack, I wanted to keep it compatible with vanilla Minecraft. I didn't want to depend on tools like MCPatcher, because I wasn't sure they were going to stay around forever.
Because of that, I had to keep the tiles 16x16. However, double res mobs were supported, so I decided to use more detail there.
MCPatcher has been very consistent for a long time now, though. Not to mention, Minecraft itself has some degree of support for HD packs now. So in hindsight, I would have made the entire pack 32x32.
At this point though, I already put so much time into this pack, I can't afford to start over. I've spent the better part of my free time on it for the past 2.5 years and I still haven't been able to replace everything. And every time I try to catch up, a whole bunch of new content gets added, LOL!
I just wanted to say that I think your mobs are amazing. The horse textures are absolutely ace; I love 'em! Thanks for all your hard work, it really shows.
The only thing a killer texture pack needs is some killer mod support! I might just have to suck it up and learn how to texture well. I just think the hardest thing is adapting someone else's style, and then using it to make your own things.
I agree. This pack is my absolute favorite. I switch back to the default from time to time and immediately miss the wayukian pack! The only think I dislike is the texture for the creepers, but I like the default creeper even less... I haven't found another pack I like nearly as much!!
Sweet! Thank you so much for one of my absolute favorite texture packs! I was so worried I would have to play without this for a while when 1.6 came out, but you are quick as can be with those updates, and you totally rock for it
With the snapshots that Mojang puts out, I'm able to anticipate updates. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to make such a quick update, because I do spend a long time on each texture.
I love what you've made for the new blocks, replaced the blue wool of my TARDIS with harden clay and the coal blocks are amazing! The horses are amazing as well, had to go venturing for about an hour to get one tho.
Hey guys! I just wanted to mention I *finally* uploaded my pack to Planet Minecraft.
So if you see it on there, please don't report it, it's the real me, LOL!
I was using this pack since official release 1.0, and I really like how far this texture pack has gone! I really like the horses, and I can't wait for horse armor

Wow! Those saddlebags look amazing! Well done!
For anyone who missed it, here's a post with images of the textures for the new blocks. It was made over a month ago now, so I'm not sure if anything has changed since then.

You're saying that you can't work on this 24/7? What? You need to be more dedicated. Don't even act like you have a life!
