Default is 16x16. Not really a resolution, but measured in pixels. Then 32x, 64x and so on.This is the size per block, not total size of the terrain file. I posted a link earlier for the terrains re-sized.
Okay, I understand that bit, however is there a difference in framerate if I was to use a 256x256 texture over a 16x16 texture?
How do I change the title of my thread? Should I start an entirely new thread simply to rename it? I thought that'd be like spamming because then I'd have to threads about the same texture pack... D: Some guy said he reported me for necroing an 'old thread' that is mine... so... ???

When you click on edit, the normal editor will pop up. You want to find the "use full editor" button at the bottom of the text box. This will switch it and you'll see the boxes with your headlines in them. Edit away

That is what I was struggling with, haha, such a noob I am :laugh.gif:
Okay, I guess there is no template to show what each tile is. Fair enough! Next questions, there is this item.png file I see going about, but when I look in all my texture packs from peeps I don't see any item.png anywhere.. where is it?
Some texture packs might not have all files, that's because minecraft will automatically replace the missing textures with the default ones

Thanks for the key, Stephen!
I would like to offer my topic of "Mob Skin Templates" to help others in making mob skins.
I have just asked for it to be moved from Modding Discussion to Texture Discussion so it will be in the right place (not sure if that will change the link though.)
I am currently reworking it to include PDN and PSD files and other information too.
Also, I have done the research to find where the textures for the fences, buttons, switches and other item get their texture from (yes, terrain.png, but the specific pixel ranges.) Will post that soon in a new topic.

Retired StaffYeah there is. Quite a bit so, even with just a default terrain re-sized to 256x. Really depends on your system though.

Retired StaffYou could do that...but people will come if they are interested. Changing the name might just irritate some.

I'm trying to modify the little cross that works as aim, but regardless of what I do, it just won't change in game. HALP :ohmy.gif:
