You do know obsidian can be made resistant to portals? You can change that in the same place as the grid. Do you think you could change the texture then?

Ooh, thanks! I got some ideas from those, and I also noticed that the sheep, violin, etc. in the other portal texture pack are actually frames from GlaDOS' screen at the end of the game.

The Corner-Piece Material Emancipation Grid Emitter (or CPMEG for short)!
Unfortunately, the arrow on the top doesn't rotate with the pumpk- CPMEG, so that's going to change. I did this so that the emitter would only be on one side of the block, giving people the ability to place it sticking out from walls, and to avoid having multiple emitters being seen when you absolutely need to place one as a corner.

I have enough momentum for all of the jumps. I think you might be doing something wrong. I assume you've tried jumping, and not just falling, into portals. Sometimes you'll need to jump into the same portal twice to get enough momentum.
EDIT: Oh, yeah. Version 4 is out!

This is by far the best portal pack, by the way.
Thank you! It's a rather unique pack, being aimed at level designers and all, but it'll certainly get use with my map and I hope some other people notice it soon.

That's happened to me once or twice. You might want to look at Single Player Commands and World Edit. There's a lot of commands to help with building, but there's also one to put out fires.

Try /extinguish all. You could use /ext, too.
Alright, I've come across a bit of a dilemma that I want some community input on. Since Double slabs and half slabs both have the floor texture for their top and bottom, should I make dirt (which has been the floor so far) look more like dirt? I've never liked the sound of walking on dirt floors inside the test chambers anyway.

I released this (minor) update because I used these blocks in the most recent version of my map (which I also just released). Go check it out.
Let's go beg iChun for a portalgun holder thing to go in the center of that.
