Wow, this is just amazing dude, I hope you keep working on it. I am not too big on texture packs, usually because they change the textures too much, but this is exactly what I've been looking for. I'm running the 256x version and everything is just gorgeous! I would love to see something done with the ore blocks (not the ores, but things like diamond blocks, etc.), and definitely ice and snow too, but I really can't complain about anything here, it's just too amazing.

This is so sexy, and I can finally run it because of the 64x version, soo beautiful!

Very good pack but i have an issue, after patching the pack has a problem where there are thin black lines on torches and swords, issue with the patching or the pack?

This is amazing. This would probably be the only HD texture pack I would ever run.

I would run it, but I normally just stick to 16x16 to stay out of harms way.

The only problem I have with the 256pixel is that minecraft runs out of RAM, and I'm having issues telling Java to use more than 1gb of Ram. :/
I've been trying the same method as people do to increase the amount of RAM the server can use and just switching it to minecraft.jar, but it keeps getting an invalid .jar file error.

"C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx2g -Xms2g -jar Minecraft.jar

Ideas?

Yes, I did try it.
It looks like crap. He just added a shitload of grain to the default textures. If anything, you're the one who doens't understand.

It's the original overlaid with more detail...

I do have to agree with him on a small level. Some of the textures just seemed to have a noisy overlay, such as the mobs (In my opinion), but everything else really does look amazing, especially the wood.

I also love the drop shadow and re-texturing you did with the ores. Damn good job.

I'm really impressed with this, it's really cool. Only complaint i have is the glass, but i never liked it in the normal texture anyway. if you could make it more like glass it'd be cool.

Thats quite nice. If you look at the Faithful 32x32 textures which look almost exactly like the original you could use some ideas for how items and blocks look with your texture pack.
