I recently made a texture pack on the painterly website. For some reason, whenever I try to change the grass texture to a snow texture, it shows up as snow on the sides of the block, but as a lime green on top of the box. Why is this?
grass color is determined by the biome color..only snowy dirt can be the snowy dirt block. unless you change the biome color to all white..which will make all grass/trees etc white.

The texture pack i made off of the website changes all grass to a snowwy whity color. It works for all of the sides of the block except the top. The top of the block is a weird green color. All of the other sides are white like they are supposed to be.

That is because grass color is determined by a file that does not get changed with the texture pack selector. You need to find the grass biome image in the Painterly texture pack folder and put it into the jar directly.
