What's special about this pack?
Every play a roguelike?
This pack is made of ascii symbols (some of which I.. uh... Invented)
Most tiles only have 2 colors (I made an exception with dirt/grass siding, however)
This texture pack might be confusing at first (just like a roguelike!) but can be figured out, you just need to make friends with the tooltips!
How complete is it?
Aside from a few paintings, minecarts, and a few other small things, it's pretty much done. All mobs and items, the title screen, gui, and textures are complete.
What's it look like?
I admit, I need to take some better screenshots, but here are some of what I have at the moment!
As a friend said to me upon seeing this texture pack's sun:
The sun is like a giant eye staring down and judging my shitty fort!
Zombie Pig men!
A ghast greets you with a decidedly self confident smile.
And if anyone wants the ASCII thingiemabob I used as a template for most everything in this pack:
If you're callin' about the Mobtalker scripts, I no longer have access to them.
However, it's been getting tempting lately to put together a modpack that includes CustomNPCs, so I could definitely work in something along the same themes in the modpack's quests. Feel free to give suggestions of mods that promote an experience which minimizes mining grind in favor of exploration. I'll likely have to include Grimorie of Gaia to provide good models (No I'm not gonna directly change the default mob models)
