What's Unique about this pack?
Lots of bright colors, interestingly enough using only 6 colors and 5 tones of gray.
Things in this pack don't directly translate from default (for instance, I use glowing eye-blocks for pumpkins)
The colors from this texture pack are from this webservice thingie called Goggles, that lets you draw on webpages! Give it a look!
Is this something I might use all the time?
It's prolly a "fun for a while" type pack, but if you like really bright colors in your minecraft, this might be something you use often!
How complete is it?
At current, I have everything in the texture.png done, but that is still a work in progress. I still have to get to other things.
What's it look like?
Cobblestone and natural stone in this pack are decidedly yellow!
A small, Red carpeted treasure room (due to self-inflicted pallet limitations, hot pink is the new red)
A small farm, Aligned by Glowing Eyes (formerly pumpkins). We grow glowin' waffle plants here!
A natural scene, in which we watch sheep graze the vibrant grasses of a clearing of a native Waffle Forest!
March 21, 2011:
Textured a few mobs (pigs, creepers, zombies, sheep slimes(but I still have yet to encounter one, so I don't know how they look!))
Textured some items (ores and dyes, all swords and picks, a few shovels, and a few other items)
Textured the Main GUI (still have to work on others)
It's like an 8-bit rpg!
EDIT: make sure you get it accurate if your going for a perfect 8 bit.
you can only use 32 colors total for blocks, 8-per a pallet, 4 pallets, blocks can not use colors from more then one pallet. and item sprites and mobs have the same thing, with the other half of the colors. But just a suggestion, if you want it to be accurate.
Also, waffle trees ftw. Just extract syrup from them while your at it.

I am not actually goin' for an 8-bit pallete. I was gonna mention something along those lines, maybe I should!
I just wanted to see what I could make with a a certain color theme I have grown fond of!
I do thank you for the advice though!

I honestly was just rambling there. But that gave me an idea!
Also just wanted to show off how nerdy I am.
Looks like a GBC RPG type game and the colors isn't obnoxious as you state them to be.
Although some may think so some, as myself, not.
But to each there own.

I don't personally think they are obnoxious.
But It's a fun name.
It's other potential name was "The Fantastic (Colors) Pack." Which I think sounds kinda lame.
I just notice that a lot of minecraft skins tend to be dreary. People who like TRUGRIT BROWN&BLOOM(tm) might find any color obnoxious :B

I think I'm going to use this for a long long time. It makes me feel so happy :3
:biggrin.gif: I am very glad!
I still got a good bit of stuff to do with it though, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
I have at times considered doing my own texture pack using a similarly nauseating palette. I was thinking of the EGA palette, the standard Windows Paint palette or the Palace Chat palette. But then I chickened out and started doing a more conventional texture pack instead, LOL.
Anyway, it looks surprisingly good considering the limitations. I also like your weird pumpkin design. :smile.gif:
